Though I don't think I have any writing mojo right now, I am excited about reading it. And hey, who knows?
Toast: With the distinct possibility of moving on the horizon, I looked, sans panic, through the apartment listings. Just the CP, still haven't cracked the PG. And even then I think the prospects are pretty good. If I stopped being stupid about spending money I could swing almost twice what I pay now, and that gives me more options than I had when I first moved. So it will be a pain in the ass, but it'll be all right.
Mom thinks my dad should buy the building and rent it out, since he had thought about doing so elsewhere. I... don't... know... about... that. Between the apron-strings factor and the professional-distance-between-liege-and-serf factor, I'm not sure I want to mix that all up. Eh. I don't know. I do love the location, and the price, and I could easily wrangle out of the no-pets clause, but. I don't know. Like many things in life, there are tradeoffs.

I don't even want to bring it up to him, because he'll throw an Ultimate Panic Fit, call me every day, and insist against all human logic that I live with him.
