Well, at least according to the quiz that I conveniently just had to take for Psych.
In other news, before break started, I thought I had in-school suspension. I was about to blurt out "I swear, I didn't do it!" when I was led to the office, but then I was informed that I was called there because I will be co-hosting the Senior Honors Banquet. I'll be doing it along with Andy Richards, and we apparently have a license to poke fun at anyone, so that should be interesting...
Overall, this spring break has been fairly relaxing and kinda productive. Staying in town over break has made me realize Ames would be a ghost town without students, which is pretty sad. But the weather didn't completely suck, so it's all right.
Now, here's the obligatory list of of what I did over break:
I did homework and other assorted exciting things on my to-do list.
I finally got my ears pierced. It was quite an OMG-worthy event.
I watched Dead Poets Society with LJ and Emmo. Apparently, Ethan Hawke was in it. And so my Hamlet-induced obsession continues on. Ethan Hawke aside, it was quite inspiring, and it made the references in HE 12 clearer. Basically, DJ IS ROBIN WILLIAMS.
My first real
article was published in The Tribune. It was about how "Not all Little Cyclones become Cyclones," and it had quotes (from AHS students, so you should read it) and everything!
I've been spending my time foxtrot-ing and hustle-ing. The latter will most definitely come in handy in everyday life because I'm always gettin' down to disco. Which reminds me, Sarit, Jason, and I decided that we simply must have a WEB dance party. Hopefully, this will be more successful than our short-lived/non-existent WEB emo band, of which I was the screaming lead singer.
Tomorrow it's back to school and back to waiting. I had almost forgotten about the whole college thing over break. Almost. Back to reality... this does not bode well with my idealism.
