This weekend was my Grandma's 75th birthday. We went out and mini golfed as a family, I had a great time, Morgan on the other hand still detests mini golf. I actually did really well and my Dad beat me by one point. My Mom laughed a lot at Morgan's missed putts and was being really competitive about things which I don't think made him feel any better about golf.
I have begun teaching my lesson at South Albany and being that this is day 2 things are going well. Chris has given me some good feedback already and I am feeling more confident about everything. I am also beginning to sit in on the Sociology class that I will be teaching next trimester. Finding out that I will get to teach Sociology pretty much made my week last week. I have so many ideas for that class.
I was a big brave Sarah today in that I went, on my own, to get my flu shot. I'm normally a huge wuss when it comes to shots or having blood drawn. But I did it and it wasn't that bad. My arm is sore but they said that will go away soon.
Can't say that I have been up to anything that's really exciting. I have been designing activities for the classes I am teaching, writing lesson plans and doing homework. I haven't even had a lot of time to craft. Lucien still gets most of my attention when I am home and he has been a real sweetie lately. He liked me having a three day weekend where we mostly stayed at home, walked him and snuggled him. He's starting to fill out a bit and look like a pom rather than some kind of scraggly coyote pup.
