One last weekend
I went in Wednesday and spent the morning with the teacher I will be working with this year. I am official now, I have my student teacher badge from the school, met all of the administrators and I am creating an assignment for the students to do. Tuesday is the first day of school, it will be Freshman only and since we will teach juniors and seniors I will go on the tour with the freshman, see how they are acclimated to the school and then spend some time planning lessons. I think it's going to go really fast.
Tomorrow Lucien gets his stitches removed which should result in finally taking his cone off. I looked at his legs today and what used to be a 1 inch incision is now healed and only tiny red spots remain so I know that he is feeling better. I don't think he was actually ever in pain but the fuss he made over things would lead you to believe otherwise.
I'm not sure what else we're doing this weekend. Besides groceries, I need to start bringing a lunch so I have to go and get lunch things. We borrow Lego Start Wars from Joe and Heather. I love this game so much. It's really the first game I have found that I can play more than just the first level of by myself. Plus I have unlimited lives so I don't have to feel bad about dying so often, usually the result of an unforeseen cliff.
