Domestication is not a natural state. The fact that beings choose to exist in what is measured as harmony (although evidence of occasional dischord exists in your lj) is a matter of combining preference and reference. Reference states that such that surrounds you is part of you, and you exist in relation to it - thus, to modify the surroundings is to modify the reference, which requires abandonment of your consideration of self... so yeah, although I keep my dog in a cage so he doesn't chew up yet another niiiice leather jacket and regurgitate it unto itself, I myself feel caged whenever I do so.
Preference, on the other hand, is simple - if a situation serves what is considered by your self to be your needs and/or wants, you will prefer it - that's why you don't live underwater.

Oh, one more thing.... it can also spell l-i-v-e, but I had a hank'rin that there may be something better, so I asked the Wiki...

Let me tell you something about Levi; however. He is a pain in the ass. He is spoiled, he is manipulative, and he is a little orange punk.
