back!

I haven't had a computer since last Tuesday night, which has been kind of a nice break (although I did miss LJ). I'm back from visiting family, and it's hailing/snowing outside right now. It's definitely perfect weather to stay inside all day and accomplish things. I'm hoping to cross of more of my sewing to do list and then do some really boring things like laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.

fun things I am expecting in the mail this week:

1. from M&J Trimming - silk ribbon (white spool, a few yards of navy), silk ribbon color swatch, and flat sequins in various shades of gold
2. from FabricClick - 4 yards of blue-green silk taffeta, 1 yard of dark pink silk taffeta, 1 yard of strawberry lisere
3. from BareNecessities - a very pretty new set of underwear
4. from some random quilting store - a quilt kit for my roommate, Kristen
5. from amazon - the omnivore's dilemma (also for Kristen)
6. the $3k financial aid check the bursar's office forgot to send me in september
7. some stuff from my naturopath

I haven't gotten anything besides bills (and the anthro catalog!) during the last few months, so I guess this more than makes up for it!
