this is becoming a bad habit
As anyone who has seen the insides of my clothes can attest to, I am obsessed with binding things like hems and raw edges with white silk satin ribbon. I bought a spool a few years ago (when Jenni and I had our NYC garment district extravaganza) and it has begun to run dangerously low. Just yesterday I thought to myself, "I'm going to have to stock up on this stuff soon. I hope M&J Trimming has one of their sales sometime soon."
I just dropped $75. M&J is having a one day only 20% off sale. I bought more ribbon. and then I found some other things that I needed. like sequins (for my muff). and some other stuff.
This was very impressive turnaround time from my having noticed my supply was running low till the time I got the email from M&J...but, seriously, couldn't this sale have waited a few weeks until sometime after I had spent way too much money on fabric and crafting supplies (that I haven't even gone into, but I have decided to learn the art of paper-cutting - for silhouettes and the like)?
