I'm so happy for you! :) Take it easy!

I've heard from tons of people that spotting in early pregnancy is fine. As long as you aren't having sharp pains (mild cramping is okay as well, things are stretching) and actually bleeding, it should be fine. But definitely a good idea to quit smoking! :)

Well the OB said she'd have a nurse give me a call, none yet, but I scheduled our first appointment for December 8th :)

so exciting! :) *~hugs~*

To get seen by the ob faster mention the spotting but honestly I wouldn't worry about it if you have no pain/cramps with the blood. I'm not positive but I think a chemical pregnancy is really quick so if you're still testing positive and no period it looks really good.

I mentioned it, they scheduled my first appointment for 8 weeks, which sounds normal to me, but she's going to have a nurse give me a call. Probably just to make sure everything is fine, which you're probably right that it is, at least I hope so! ;)

thanks for helping ease my mind <3 *~hugs~*

Good for you for quitting smoking - I know it's hard! I quit the day after I found out I was pregnant with William and once the pregnancy symptoms kicked in, I couldn't differentiate between those and cigarette withdrawal (Josh, on the other hand, had a terrible time).

usually I have my first cig break @ 10am when I'm at work.. I had a piece of string cheese instead.. I have no idea how crabby I'm going to get, I'm already a little irritable. But it's def worth it :)

(I just wish I could tell people why I'll be pissy) I got written up last week for having an attitude problem, so we'll see how goes..)

My husband quit smoking last year and the thing that really helped him was carrying around a pack of gum with him everywhere. Everytime he even thought about having a smoke he'd pop a piece of gum in his mouth. September 12th this year he's stopped smoking for 1 year! I still buy him the big packs of gum at SAM's club.

I'm doing alright today, atleast better than I thought I would. I just keep telling myself it's for a good reason & not to get upset/irritable.

I think I'll pick up some gum after work.. Thanks for the advice! :)

Babies need good energy!!! No worries!

And good for you for quitting smoking so early! Sometimes if people wait too long, the withdrawls can have effect on the baby too. I'm so proud of you. I know you'll make a wonderful mama!

Thanks hun!.. I can't believe how easy it's been. I mean I'll probably end up having 2 more again today, but I worked late again.. & it was a bad day.. so hopefully tomorrow will be much better & I won't need any!
