Luke's the easy one - he's at Oxford. But what do we do with the others? I don't know the geography or the schools or anything, so I'm looking for ideas here.

If you want a university close to Oxford, your best bet is Oxford Brookes university which is in Oxford but is easier to get into than Oxford. If she wanted a degree that would leave her with quite a bit of spare time, her best bet would be an arts course like English, Media or perhaps History. Most middle universities like Oxford Brookes wouldn't have very long contact hours for those sort of courses. Medical and science based subjects often have long contact hours so best bet is not to choose one of those ( ... )

Depends whether you think Clyde and Rani are likely to remain in the London area so as to be available to help SJS as needed. There are dozens of universities in and around London/within an easy commute.

Try looking at the UCAS website which will allow you to search by course details and university details...

I'd definitely say staying in London for both of them - I can't see them going too far away from Sarah Jane and Oxford is very close to London after all. (I went to Uni in London and my ex-partner in Oxford and we found the distance very manageable.)

Personally I never imagined Rani doing Journalism because put in the nicest possible way, the University's that do that degree tend to not be the especially academically excellent ones and I always thought of Rani as being very bright. So perhaps English at one of the more prominent Unis like King's College or Queen Mary's or UCL?

As for Clyde, I can see him going to one of the more practical and vocational Unis to do something with art. I can see him at London Met perhaps or one of the specialist art ones.

Regarding the comic thing, I'd think that Clyde would probably do something with graphic design to help him expand on his techniques.
