Yep, my birthday came and passed with no hospital visits and no throw
down fights! Yay! It actually is one of my favorite birthday's so far.
The festivities began Thursday when I was trying to find Sarah's
apartment. Suddenly, I heard some people singing "Happy Birthday" and
remarked to Mel that it was funny that it was someone else's birthday
this week. Then, someone from the singing apartment yelled, "Where is
she?" and general confusion overtook the singing. It was only then that
I realized that was the apartment I was trying to find. Go figure!
My actual birthday started with seven hours at work. Oh, thrilling! I
probably shouldn't have stayed out so late because the better part of
the day I was trying not to fall asleep. When I finally got back, the
apartment was sparkling which probably could have sufficed for the
entire birthday present from my roommates but there was also cake from
my mom and flowers! After doing a tour around campus, my sister found
my apartment and thirty minutes late, my roommates took me out to Olive
Garden where I got my second Happy Birthday song.
Once we were back at the apartment, I realized we had guests when I saw
Johnny's El Camino. It isn't a very slick car for surprises.
Inside was Alan, Johnny, Alex, Crouch, Jeff, and I'm sure I'm missing
some people but I got Carmen Electra's Strip Aerobics and Jack Daniels
so we called it a party. Honestly, if I were Superman, JD would be my
Kryptonite. I have a small problem, especially with Alan going shot for
shot with me.
Once again, I got sort of sang to, made drinks, and had possibly too
much fun which I may someday have to show you the pictures of. The very
next night, Clemson won against Texas A&M so the Birthday weekend
was complete.
Everyone should possibly start preparing for my 21st now. Remember, I want a rickshaw and some hot guys to pull me around in it!
QUICK EDIT: I completely forgot that my roommate gave me Clap and Mono! Thanks Jessi! Next time I'm looking for Flesh-Eating Virus and Black Death!
