(no subject)
i update my journal at the weirdest times. hmm.
pretty good weekend, acadeca all day on friday and then lacrosse on saturday. am soo sunburned, and am once again reminded of my extreme paleness. why can't i have olive skin and brown hair like all my siblings? oh no, instead i get to be the ultimate queen of pasty white-ness. yay me.
i love the godfather. such good movies, makes me so proud to be italian (or to be more accurate, sicilian). This is the last week before spring break, and i CAN'T wait. This is the first year in like six years that my family is just staying home, so no bahamas or new york or whatever for me. Am actually v. excited, looks like it will be a good week. And there are so many shows coming up i wanna go to:
--The Jealous Sound (w/ 15 mins faster and Bella) on March 14 @ Clubhouse
--Flogging Molly on March 17, soooo the perfect band to see on St. Patty's Day
--The Format,Something Corporate, and Yellowcard on March 20th
--The Strokes @Marquee Theater, March 28
Also, heard that Ben Folds is doing a summer tour in Cali,so am gonna try to see him while im there. Gah, so many shows, so little time and money! Speaking of shows, does anyone wanna go to Jealous Sound with me? They're such a good band and I wanna go v. badly but there's no way my parents will let me go solo, so i'm begging for someone to go with! I can drive my car at night now, so i can take and everything (if you trust my driving =] ). Jeez, i have a lot of plea's on this thing, i guess im one desperate kid. meh, what can i say? i want to go!
