YOUR SENIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL

what year was it?
2000-2001

what were your three favorite bands?
flogging molly, the beatles, mighty mighty bosstones

What was your favorite outfit?
um..phat pants? (haha nobody here knows anything about that)

What was up with your hair?
short with highlights...very very very low maintence.

who were your best friends?
jamie, jayson, sam, ron, mike mattson, track people...

What did you do after school?
work at michaels, do stats for guys' basketball, run track

where did you work?
michaels....arg the yarn ladies, getting hit in the ass with a ruler, the stupid questions....yay for retail.

did you take the bus?
sometimes to casa...that was my only opportunity. otherwise, my district didn't have buses

Who did you have a crush on?
hmmm senior year? nothing really earthshatteringly obsessive. i still kinda had a thing for simon, but i knew that was never going to happen, i still had somewhat of an interest in andy, but he hardly talked to me in 11th grade when we had a class together, i just figured he wasn't interested and wanted to minimize the hurt factor. i wasn't hurting for guy friends though...i was the postergirl for the "i only like you as my sister" line.

Did you ever fight with your parents?
nope

Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?
not really a crush, more like an obsession but not in the crush kind of way....dicky barrett

Did you smoke cigarettes?
nope

Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?
no. i have no reason why i should've be nervous to get to my locker....

Did you have a 'clique'?
in a way yeah, but i moved between groups. the not so involved, more finge group most of the time and then the jocks during sports seasons...but my school wasn't really big enough to have strict clique lines that were uncrossable. we'd all known each other since 6th grade, maybe longer.

Admit it, were you popular?
no, but given my school, most people knew who everyone was...but i wasn't in the "popular" group. didn't want to be

who did you want to be just like?
hmmm...i didn't want to be like the popular kids. sometimes i think i focused too much on that.

what did you want to be when you grew up?
haha i'm such a nerd. by about this time of year in 2001, i knew that i wanted to go into museum work and that i wanted to get a job at greenfield village.

where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
i don't think i thought about it too much. i think i was hoping that getting away from madison heights would solve all my problems and i'd be able to meet all these wonderful new friends that were so much better than i had encountered before. i'm on track where i thought i'd be with school, but not everything has worked out in the way i thought they would.
