Kris Broke his neck
So I found out a couple of days ago that Kristjan broke his neck. He was boogie boarding in Hawaii and was on top of a 8 ft. wave and then it crashed down on him making his body do a headstand on the sand. His body jerked one way while his head went another and he heard a crack. He has four fractures on his C5 vertebrae. The best news is that he is Not dead nor paralyzed. What a blessing right? I guess all the nurses and doctors that he saw told him how lucky he was because injury to the C5 usually less to a more serious outcome. Well all he needs to do to recover is take it very easy for the next 6-8 weeks wearing a neck brace... no surgery or halo brace.
So he is going to stay with his dad the next two months in Hawaii...what a rad place to recover.. not cold, windy, rainy, and cloudy.
