I haven't used LJ in such a longtime but after reading my post I realized how nice it is to be able to go back and remember what I have done and what I use to think about.
This December Tim came over from Missouri to hang out with his family. Here is a highlight of the things I did:
Before I left home I stayed in Monmouth and played in the snow and stayed warm with the Seick’s fire.
Went to the Seahawks vs. Jets game (head coach Holmgren’s last home game) I was the best game ever…. Actually it was the first pro football game I have seen live. It was snowing almost the entire time…. Not in the beginning but definitely during and after. The crowd started throwing snowballs. On the big screen it said that if anyone throws a snowball they will be asked to leave. Of course that only made people throw more snowballs at the players, cheerleaders, security…. A lot at the security… I think saw a streakier on the field… the people escorting him off the field definitely got pounded. I saw Brett Favre play… and we totally beat them. It was great… and I didn’t get too cold.
Went to a play in Seattle called, The Christmas Foundling. It wasn’t bad… there were some funny parts. Some miners have a woman stubble in their cabin Christmas eve and she gives birth to a child but doesn’t make it through herself. The take care of the boy and about 10 years later his aunt comes looking for her sister to find out that she is dead but has a nephew instead.
Went to Seven Pounds and that one mouse movie... Desperaux, saw A.I. for the 1st time, and watched the mini series Tin Man.
Shelby and I finally saw each other and I met her boyfriend. That was rad.
Went on a ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle at night… it was a wonderful view.
Went to various used books stores to find a gift for a friend. Going to those stores are fun… especially the ones that used to be homes and they are rooms everywhere and second levels of craziness.
Saw my little nephew several times, played Wii for the first time, had wonderful homemade meals, desserts, and yumminess
Wrote my resume and cover letter for my internship… was nervous but I guess they turned out great… according to someone who works there… so that’s a great compliment!
Went outside several times to clear the driveway and sidewalk of snow and went intertubing down my hill.
