A couple years ago a good friend and I essentially broke off our daily communication because -suddenly- we weren't in classes together, we lived in different cities, and life pulled us in opposite directions. Although we continue to keep in touch on a semi-regular basis, one long-standing tradition we had seems to have been abandoned.
