A few of my guy friends have been talking about relationships lately - Phils latest entry has sparked a few things in my mind that I decided to post on here rather than just on his journal because the stuff I have to say applies to a few people that I can think about. And, if the girls on my friends list have more to add, feel free to stick stuff

Yeah, I was ranting about multiple things and not all of them would apply to any one person, or anyone at all - it was just random thoughts that had been sparked by your post really. I can see that everyone struggles with the social status in some way, or is constantly doing things to try and maintain their current status.

I've always said I never understood why girls go after the "alpha male" or the asshole.. you can easily spot them (see: the do not date stamp comment) and yet these retards are still going after them. I remember one incident I heard a guy in class bragging about how he got with some girl at a party, and was going on and on.. and I was thinking.. wow that would be real embarrassing if he was talking about me. Fast forward to lunch time and the girls around me were talking about said guy, and I told them the story and they said, "Yeah but he's still hot" and continued to go on about him.

Underneath it all, I think what all women find attractive is confidence (not to be confused with being cocky), and a sense of humor. Course they all have their own "list" of whatever they look for.. but these are the two important ones.
