Taking one day at a time
Yeah so I know that I said I was going to start a new LJ. I even made a name and everything, but I'm way to lazy to start a new one, so yeah this is gonna be it.
Moving On.
Anyways, I think that August 21 was the most STRESSFUL day of my life. We left my house at 6:00 so we could get to Macomb early. Four miles into the trip, I remember that my computer was on my desk at home. Way to start out my college career by almost forgetting an important item. The ride there was ok, until we got really close, I was so nervous and it was kinda bad.
The moving in process sucked. We waited in the car for almost an hour. Basically sitting there checking everyone else out. While sitting there I see this girl walk by and she looked really familiar, and I was like that is so my roommate. So anyways we get to actually get to move in, more craziness. So we're standing there and the girl I thought was my roommate pulls next to us, and it's her so that was fun.
We get to our room, which looked really small at first, but it's really not. We have our furinture (sp) arrange really cool, and we have tons of room. I love my dorm room. It took us almost 2 hrs to do that though, very frustrating.
While we were there I was really upset and I almost cried 5 times, I wanted my parents to take me home with them. They left around 5:00. I really don't know what I did after that.
Yesterday was better. Got my room semi-organized. Went to WalMart and stuff. Went to a speaker thing, that was awesome!
Today was start of classes. My first two classes are in the same building, and right next to each other. They're lecture classes, so there are around 200 ppl in there. It's pretty crazy. After, I went back to room to get things, and my key got stuck in the door. That was no fun. I went back to eat lunch in the union, I ate by myself. This is a huge accomplishment for me. I'm not independent. Even though I felt like a loser. I decided to head to my next class early, and I met a girl there, she nice and is in the same dorm building as me, so that's cool.
After class, Jessie( my roomie), Molly, and I went to WalMart again. yay.
Came back ate dinner, then realized we were having a floor dinner, so we sat there and talked w/ some of our dorm mates. Some of the girls on my dorm are really nice and others are trying to isolate themselves, not cool.
Anyways, I read some of psy. tonight, but it's kinda hard since it's kinda loud sometimes.
I really haven't met too many people and that's disappointing.
There are SO MANY CUTE TALL BOYS here!!! There are a lot in my communications class. It's great. Except I haven't been hit on yet, and it's slightly depressing. oh well. It's only the first day right?
So college is good, I like freedom. I don't have my lab tomorrow, so I don't go to class until 11:00. :-)
