Yesterday I managed 2,000 words exactly on my latest story (not counting the words I did for the outline which was at least another 1k) and hope to continue it along. I'm still trying to come up with a decent name so henceforth it shall be known as Alpha. ;) Maybe I can get a bit more on track with writing now instead of the hit-or-miss I've become.
For those who've been keeping tabs on the
Paypal censorship debacle, there was a huge breakthrough with that mess yesterday.
Mark Coker of Smashwords stated that Paypal has reversed its stance and will be re-amending it's TOS to not be the Morality Police. This makes me happy, as I know a lot of people who were affected by this fallout (Bookstrand booting all indie publishers, ARe doing the same but at a slower pace so as to seem more "friendly"), but hopefully they can now get back to writing books their fan bases want to read without fear of reprisal (for now). Their stories may not be everyone's cup of tea but they are legal and just as worthy of publication on websites that continue to sell Lolita and Flowers In The Attic.
Today is shaping up to be a lovely day! Too bad the day job forces me to work through most of it (for now). ;-)
