Just what happens when two adorable kids ask SMAP chefs a question?
I love kids more than politics, so I have a very good excuse to play around capping this part of SXS episode which...
forever will be in my favorite list of SMAPXSMAP episodes.
As promised here's Mana chan & Fuku kun's questions to SMAP.
Annnnnd so I realized some things:
1. The first question about being "kakkoii" from a six-year old little boy was real a cool question. I often hear boys even men use this word & in expressions. Being cool has a large scope, not only restricted to physical attributes, so a young boy asking how to become one from the "Gods of kakkoii" was cool in itself.
2. It seemed to me that their answers had diversity & balance. Shingo's answer about work had some nuance in it. Some people work hard, but they don't really show much of how they feel about it. As opposed to some who work really hard & show it to everyone. Tsuyoshi's answer was really nice. A cool person has a good personality, so he can easily make friends. It follows that you must also experience a lot of things and learn from it. Kimura Captain...he had a serious face when he was giving his advice. My heart was really beating fast when he was talking & a bit distracted with the reaction from the audience. He had pauses in between, so there was some suspense in it. However, the moment he said "onnanoko" ...I was like holding my chest coz my heart beat even faster. When he finished, I was like in a dreamland. How can you protect your girl if you don't eat & sleep a lot? Goro chan was the last and had the answers that perhaps would be top in the list if we are to survey how to be cool. I liked the way he started it because of his trademark hairrrr & of course his gestures. So all in all I think those are really cool advices to the little boy.
3. The little darling never feared to ask the question. It both had the innocence & smartness in it, I think. Annnnd, just the look of the chefs as soon as she finished asking her question was simply "whoa!". Her question brought back some memories I had since we had hamsters before. Never did I or my siblings asked this question to my mom. LOL!
4. Shingo playing with words is love. It made sense though...of course food is important. I again liked Tsu's answer and the way he said it. It made sense again, forcing whatever isn't good...and besides it's animal's nature. The moment I saw his face after Mana chan asked the question, I had a good feeling I will love Captain's answer. It felt to me like it's closer to humans, ahahaha! or maybe I imagine too much!~ What made it more cute was when the little girl shared her piece of mind just naturally. Goro chan was ever so adorable when he answered the question. He was passionate & animated. His point too was very good.
5. I just so wish Nakai Leader also answered the questions. He had a role to play & we must understand. I love it when he can easily adjust to whoever he is talking to be it kids or adults. Some of the cute Nakai Owner moments were when he immediately talked to Fuku kun after Shingo's advice, his reaction to Mana chan's question, and how he teased Goro chan with love.
