I am *loving* these commentaries! Even the caps of Michael looking fine. Especially those! Can I borrow one for a desktop-wallpaper-thing I'm making? You seem to have an eye for this! And I'm right with you on the Michael and Kitt moments, too - should Kitt be included in the MKSP, perhaps? ;)
I watched White Rock recently. Classic season one fare, but fun - I liked the scenes in the restaurant with Devon, even if Edward Mulhare is still a little stiff here (he's on top form by 'No Big Thing', at least). And poor Sherry didn't really stand a chance, did she - poor girl living with her little brother, starved of male attention, and who should come along to save her from quite the wrong kind of attention but Michael? I'd get into his car, too! (Wonder who inherited care of Davey for the weekend?) Score one!
Not sure about all the plaid, though.
Haven't seen SSSSS .. sssss .... in a while. Lisa was never a contender, I think she was just trying to shut her dad up. Love the stars and the stunts, and Michael's silver 'MK' suit - the helmet pops up again in other episodes (I think Devon wears it), and a shot of Kitt with his decals is used as stock footage. Even when Kitt isn't supposed to decked out in shiny silver stars at the time! And yes, you're right - I don't know who takes greater pride in Kitt's appearance, his driver or himself!
And ooh, that book Michael is reading - I'm fairly sure it's Kitt's manual! How 'swoony' is that, Michael genning up on his buddy's specs, so to speak? ;)
You're welcome to use the screencaps however you like. The post on Deadly Maneuvers had a link to the gallery they're all in, if that makes it easier for you to download them.
(Will you let me see the desktop-wallpaper-thing you're making?? ::bats eyelashes::)
Sheriff Waste in White Rock pisses me off so badly I have trouble enjoying that episode properly, but it does have some awesome moments. I do like the scenes in the restaurant with Devon, particularly him being horrified at Michael ordering a burger and fries and telling the waiter that if they'll have a problem with that there's a take-out joint across the street. :D I do like it better when they start working together more, and I think that happens at about No Big Thing, right?
Poor Sherry really didn't have much of a chance and I'm very confident that Michael will treat her extremely well. There are episodes coming up where we see that he knows how to treat a lady. I was wondering who she left Davey with too. :D
I'm a bit dubious about the plaid myself--but I do like the little bit of Michael's chest (and chest hair). :D
And OMG your reading of Lisa smooching Michael in Slammin' Sammy's is the same as mine--she's shutting her dad up about *something* that we don't see on screen ever. There's some family drama playing out that Michael's got no part in.
I'm desperately amused by the fact that they recycle some of the footage with KITT in the shiny silver stars. LOL!!
OMG I *adore* that Michael's reading KITT's manual. ::flails:: I was wondering if that's what it was, but surely KITT should have a *bigger* owner's manual. I mean that's no bigger than the one for *my* car, and he doesn't have auto-mode, or pursuit, or surveillance or turbo-boost (darn it) or any of that stuff.
