That was really really cute!! I'm not at all sure why I didn't comment on it! (I think the overwhelming Vin!Pretty drained my intellect some. :D)
I've always wondered just how far away the homesteader's land is from Four Corners.
Seems at least four days travel, right, or maybe at least three. Because they'd gone a couple of days before they sent JD and Nathan off for the two day ride ahead to look at the land.
And I also think it's interesting to imagine Mary and Billy making the return trip home with the 7, and having to sleep under the stars with them. I'm sure the guys would behave a bit differently with a woman and child around!
Oh, I hadn't even thought of that!! You're right, she is going to have to make a several days long return trip with them. Huh. I'm not sure it would have been improper for her to travel with several men all of whom she knew, though it would have been quite improper for her to travel with just one. That's at least my off the cuff sense of things.
But can you imagine travelling with annoyingly cerubic little Billy for four days. Ick!
