Episode Notes: Sentinel "Secret"

Mar 09, 2007 21:52

Having established last week that I have strange taste in episodes (apparently I'm the only one who likes Light My Fire a lot), I'm a little nervous to admit this week that I *really* like this episode. Jim and Blair are separated through the *entire* thing, pretty much, which sucks, but Blair never for even a second stops thinking of Jim. Not for ( Read more... )

I love this episode!!! I just crack up laughing when Blair escapes from the bad guys!!! The part on the bus was a riot and the icing on the cake is when he was in the slammer!!! Poor Guy!!! *hugs*

This really is an excellent Blair episode! He's so *devoted* to Jim the entire time, I love that!

Even though the guys are apart, it doesn't really seem to matter. This is one of my favourite Blair episodes - he's so brave and resourceful and cute. *g* And that last scene, with Simon lowering and towering, and Blair flailing his hands in frustration is a favourite tag.

This really is an excellent Blair episode. And they're apart the whole time, even though it doesn't really look like it, because Blair's thinking of Jim the whole time.

The last scene is great!

(And I love imagining when they get back home and how relieved Blair is. :D)

Well, Jim was (pretending) to be sedated and passed out. But you could see it as Angsty!Jim too :D

I liked this episode, but there certainly were a lot of moments that had me scratching my head.

The bakery downstairs from their apartment is open at 4am?? Wow! I don't think there's much of anything open at 4 am in my area.

I know a guy who used to work at a bakery and he had to be there at 4 am, but I don't know if they actually opened the store that early. However, I don't understand why Blair didn't just stay there and use their phone. Whoever was working there must have wondered what Blair was doing crouched in front of the window. :) He mostly likely knows the people that work there. I can just picture he and Jim stopping in now and then for donuts or bagels. He could have just asked them if he could hide out in the back and call the cops.

Also, I can't figure out how the loft got trashed, since the bad guys ran out the front door to chase after Blair, and they wouldn't have come back because the cops were on the way. When would they have been able to search the place?

How many doors are there in Jim's apartment? The ( ... )

Oh I love this episode too - it's one of Blair's best despite the fact that he and Jim are separated; it's got Kelso and Joel {yay!!}; and I love love love the relationship between Simon and Blair (poor Simon, he's never had to try and corral and keep tabs on Blair without Jim, and he has no idea what he's in for...

This is *definitely* a fantastic Blair episode--he's so *worried* but that doesn't stop him from being focused and effective in trying to help. I love how well Blair and Simon work together...though you're right, Simon had no idea what he was up against. :D

And Jack Kelso is so cool! And Joel! And Serena (who's one of my absolute favorite intermittent characters--the only really competent and professional woman in the show. :D)
