AWA ROCKED!!! I am now wishing I could have typed that in bigger font... lol First though I need to tell you about something else. I joined Curves!
Curves is a gym for just us lady folk so we don't have to worry about some hot chick comming in to check out guys and making the rest of us look like fat slobs puffing away on the bike. You know what I mean! I'm not even really fat... just... almost lol. Ageing is NOT fun. My metabolism is slowing down. Used to be I could just control my weight through careful dieting. Not anymore. When I hit 165 I freaked! (do bear in mind that my brests are big enough to provide one other woman with ample bussom) I nagged my mom into joining with me and we both love it! It's a thirty minute work out that targets every area. The owner said it was like an hour and a half work out rolled into thirty minutes. You don't know it when you are doing it but it is pretty intense. UGH my legs! They don't hurt exactly... once I start walking... but when I first get up UGH!!!! NE way... It's really fun when you are there. The ladies are all really friendly and most of the time I am the thinnest person there. They have all kinda of corny games set up as you go around the work out ring and at the end of the week there's a drawing for a prize. The work out equipment is all hydrolic and not weight based so it's actually HELPING mom's tendonitus! :) I think this about as close as I will ever get to LIKING excersize. (I would hate it if it wasn't for the giggling woman and the games) The only machined I really hate is that squat thingy at the end... it's so HEAVY!!! You have to walk under it and to do so you have to lift up the top part and adjust it to your shoulders. I feel like a weakling that I have such a hard time. But yeah, both me and mom really like it and both of us can already tell a difference in our muscle tones and I think I notice my pants were looser. So yay Curves! I would definately reccomend it to any woman looking for a work out plan. If you aren't sure they will give you a week's membership free.
IN OTHER NEWS...
Thursday I went to Abraham's so he could fix my CD drive. (I walked into it not knowing the thing was open and bruised my leg and tore the gears loose.) He just happened to have another one at his house, (yay!) and is giving it to me for half price of a new one and not charging me any labor fees or anything. (He had a hard time getting the thing to fit thanks to HP making it hard to replace parts yourself.) He also got me really excited about building a computer. Turns out once you build one all you have to do is replace old/worn out parts. YOU NEVER HAVE TO BUY A BRAND NEW COMPUTER AGAIN!!! So I am going to slowly aquire the parts to the new compy and he will build it for me. I hope to have it by Christmas. Another compy related thing... odds are we will be getting broadband!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY! Dad FINALLY joins the 21st century!!!
AWA stuff will be in part two. Didn't want the entries to run too long and AWA will be PACKED!!!
