Ya know, I really should listen for the thud Skar's gonna make when she sees I updated twice in a week. I must say, it's amazing how fast people will rush to make me happy at my church. Lol it was almost amusing. I hadn't even GOTTEN to church before they were already working to put me somewhere. Mom had let it be known that I wasn't happy about the Sunday School thing. So now I shall be her lovely assistant teaching the 3-4th graders in Sunday School. Should be fun if she dosen't nag too much. We've taught kids choir together since I was sixteen.
Life is SO FUN right now!!! I've got a whole group of new friends that are... MY AGE!!! *faints* And they all LOVE anime!!! We meet several times a month (it's working out to be almost every Friday) and it's sooo fun! I think I've just about met everyone now and I'm already starting to loan out my manga lol. SPEAKING of manga... Godchild... *drool* done by the same person that did Angel Santurary. Sooooooooo gooooooood. It's in this new manga mag called Shojo Beat. It's like Shonen Jump but for girls. Some of the manga ISN'T for kids either there's one about a girl that accidently orders a walking, talking, sex doll O_o. But the Mangas in there are pretty good. The only one I'm not loving is Nana. About an idiot that dated a man she KNEW was married and then is trying to get her life back together. Did I mention the slut is sixteen at the time? Baby and me is probably the most AAAWWWWwwww inspiring. It's about a kid that lost his mother and has to take care of his KAWAII!!! baby brother. SOOOOooo cute. Another is about a woman getting into the shinsen-gumi ^_^. There is also one about a girl that loves voley ball and is determined to play it inspite of her over bearing you know what of a mother. She's the new dorm mother of the volleyball guys team. Insert hyginks here. lol.
Work has also cleared up. I've started taking some pills for my adult ADD and every DAY my boss just squees over how much I'm improving. *shine* I'm not making idiot mistakes and FEELING like the villiage idiot anymore because of them. Yeah, life's good now... for once. lol
I am worried about Paw-paw, my dad's dad. He has to have open heart surgery. Fun. Only he's too sick for it right now because he smokes like an idiot. Dad is totally apathetic about it. (Dad is him made over and he was raised even a bit rougher than I was) I'm just scared that will be me thirty, fourty years down the road. Not giving a jack sh*t if the man lives or dies... I don't want that.
