Seemingly, you couldn't make the connection between the two. One is the spiritual leader of a billion people while another is a comic who largely bases his act on his drug exploits and speaks with a demeanor of a person intoxicated.

AND NO-- IM NOT KIDDING. I'M GOIGN TO GO LISTEN TO MITCH ON MY MP3 PLAYER AND CRY. WHY DIDNT I GO SEE HIM WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE? SERIOUSLY. HOW DID HE DIE/ IM SO UPDET THAT I CAN BARELY TYEP AND IM TYPING IN ALL CAPS. THIS IS A VERY VERY VERY SAD DAY. THE DAY I DISCOVERED THE DEATH OF MITCH HEDBERG. OGMOD. I AHVE TO GO CRY NOW. I didn't know what to do, either. He has a second CD out called "Mitch Altogether" that I must find now.
How he died? Not for sure but:
Hedberg died Wednesday in a hotel room in Livingston, N.J. Pending the medical examiner's report, the cause of death appears to be heart failure, said his mother, Mary Hedberg. She said her son was born with a heart defect and frequently felt anxious about his condition.
