Life kinda blah
Well, life has been interesting. I came back from Red Deer and the whirlwind tour of my past to the sanity and quiet of my home. It was nice to see the family and the nephews but even nicer to be home.
Today was the first day back at work and Ross's first day back out in the field. HE was supposed to be gone for three days. No problem. That means we can still head to Calgary to see Kirk and Susan over New Years.... Today he's told he'll be there until the 31st. *Sigh* so much for those plans. Making things even more interesting is that he is back for the night of the 31st, all of the 1st then out again on the 2nd for an indefinite period of time. We were talking tonight and decided that a quiet dinner for two sounded great. Just to spend time together.
Silly thing is, I forgot that he wasn't here. I was watching a show on my computer and went to tell him about it,... only to realize, he's out of town. :(
I felt bad when I called Kirk and Sus but things are just happening so randomly it's hard to deal with them sometimes.
