So here I sit. It's 9:40 am and I am still in PJ's and am just waking up.
I quit the job and am taking this week to relax and recouperate. Sadly, it's not going as fast as I had thought it would. :(
I have an appointment with the doc next week but can't remember why. Damn.

In other news. I don't know where I got it from but I have been reading Wil Wheaton's Blog online at
http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/ It's interesting. The guy has had a very interesting life and it reflects in the blog. It's not a "WOW, I'm like a celeb cause I was on a show and you should pay attention to me cause anything that spews forth from my mouth is gold" type. It's more, "I'm a real guy that's a geek. Like it or not, this is what my life is. I have to accept it, you should too."
I have it in my daily read icon. Check it out. I like it, you might too.

Halloween.
Halloween is one of my fave holidays! This year, we will be going to a friend's place out of town for the weekend party and then on the actual day we'll be trick or treating with a friend's little one. She's going as a princess. My hubby is going as a norseman (There's a gruesome little mask that goes with the outfit. Honest, he's not doing the SCA cop-out. Lol) And I'm going as little red riding hood (I bought a pair of knee high boots that lace up the front and have the hood and plaid skirt). We're going to try to get Kevin to come too. We were thinking of making him go as the big bad wolf (The one from Hoodwinked. But where can we find the purple lakers jersey for him???)

I don't post a lot in the public side of my journal. I tend to do it all to private friend posts. That's why I'm posting this stuff today.

On the way home from Clinton I bought a loom from a friend (Totally Random occurance) and was taught on the weekend how to set it up and weave trim!!
Last night I sat down and completed my first woven trim. It looks good. It's for My hubby's Einar cloak. :) It'll look pretty.

Other than that, I've been finding a lot of "spirituality" books. And not just to one religion. They have been rather interesting. I also bought a few of Dr Wayne Dyer's Cd's and have been listening to them. They're rather interesting and inspiring. Check 'em out if you're so inclined.

Not much else occuring at the moment. I'll try to post more on the public journal though.
