what a great weekend
So, first of all, prior to this weekend was the houseboat extravaganza. Each year I think it's even better than the year before and this year was certainly no exception. We received a free upgrade to a boat with a hot tub because the other "regular" boats were being serviced, so that was fun. The weather was gorgeous, the crew was wonderful and B came along and we got along great, didn't get sick of each other, etc. :-)
This weekend was really busy and action packed... barbequeing, fireworks watching, 2 Storm games, karaoke, 2 runs, lots of fun. I'm still exhausted from it. I think that by tomorrow morning I will have caught up on my sleep though.
Jessica called me, very happy to have finished her first outing on the boat with 11 - 13 year old girls. She had a wonderful time and said the girls were real troopers (particularly because they had to weather several severe thunderstorms between Boston and Gloucester (sp?) I can't even put in to words how much joy I feel that my daugther is living a life she loves.
