Jess passes first phase of Coast Guard test
No, she's not going to be in the Coast Guard... the official US Maritime test for maritime officer jobs is given by the US Coast Guard. Today was the first of 3 phases of testing (today's phase included two tests out of six, and they intentionally choose the easiest test plus the most difficult test for this first phase). These tests are required for her new position at Outward Bound.
She got 97% on both of them. Needless to say she's a very happy sailor! Next phase is May 31.
Ya, I know, it would seem that I don't have a life of my own since all I do is post about Jessica, or my dog. But I do have a life of my own. I have a very lovely life, thank you very much :-) It's just that I'm just about jumping out of my maternal skin with joy that my daughter is having such a lovely life of her own.
