OADSLKJF;ALKJFDLKJFLDJLFD BEST NEWS I'VE HEARD ALL WEEK! HOW DID YOU FIND THE MOVIE DID YOU LIKE IT DID YOU LOVE IT DID YOU DROOL OVER JUDE LAW? WHY I'M EVEN ASKING THOSE THINGS, I'VE NO CLUE. AS IF YOU'D NOT LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT! but also double-yay for pappa betalar, eh? :D \o/
STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT FOR THE SECOND TIME. DON'T KNOW WHEN I WILL. EITHER THIS WEEKEND, OR SOMETIME ... LATER. I DON'T KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAINNNNNNN.
but but but but annabean THE LOOK ON WATSON'S FACE WHEN HOLMES FELL
THE LOOK ON HIS FACE
:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
AND ALSO THE LOOK ON HIS FACE WHEN HE GOT THAT PACKAGE HEE! :D
aolkfjlsjfls;alkjfdlksjfdls BASKERVILLE ON MONDAY. ON MONDAY! *hyperventilates* ALSO REICHENBACH WILL KILL ME HONESTLY IT WOULD BE JUST LIKE MOFFAT TO MAKE JOHN BELIEVE SHERLOCK'S DEAD FOR GODDAMN AGES AND THEN LEAVE US HANGING FOR TWO WHOLE YEARS WHILE HE CACKLES WITH GLEE AT OUR IMPOTENT RAGING AT CLIFFHANGERS
also not sure how to feel about irene. 'cause yes, sort of love interest but also very very kickass. but idk, i liked her, certainly, but but but. idk. MAYBE IT WAS THE FACT THAT SHE MADE SHERLOCK SO WOOBIE-FACED AND I JUST WANTED JOHN TO HUGGLE HIM.
OF COURSE I LOVED IT. IT WAS ALMOST EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE - DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT THAT'S HOW I FELT. AND JUDE LAW WAS EVEN MORE HANDSOME, IF THAT'S SOMEHOW POSSIBLE. Ahaha, pappa betalar is always a great thing. :D
I SAW IT AGAIN ON TUESDAY. IT WAS GLORIOUS - ALTHOUGH I ALMOST ATTACKED SOME OTHER MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE WHEN THEY SNORTED WHEN HOLMES FELL DOWN IN THE END. I MEAN, COME ON, I'M SITTING THERE WITH MY HEART IN MY THROAT AND ALMOST CRYING BECAUSE REICHENBACH IS THE SADDEST THING EVER IN THE HISTORY OF LITERATURE - AND THEN SOME IDIOT SNORTS AT IT. HOW DARE THEY?
And don't even mention the look on Watson's face - it was heartbreaking! It was just... perfect acting, that I can say, but it broke my heart, how he just stood there and watched and then closed his eyes in pain and and and. *sobs*
BUT THE PACKAGE! AND MARY KICKING ASS AND TAKING NAMES, OH MY GOD, SHE WAS AWESOME. AND STEPHEN FRY NAKED, HEE! AND NOOMI RAPACE! AND THE WEDDING AND TRAIN SCENES WERE PERFECT, OH DEAR. And I have to say, I really loved Moriarty - well, not 'loved' because he is a criminal mastermind and all, but he just really matched the image I have of Moriarty, this scary, brilliant man who will do anything to succeed. Perfect movie is perfect. BUT WHY DID IRENE HAVE TO DIE? D:
I haven't even seen the new episodes yet! I've been studying so hard that I haven't had the chance to watch them, even though I have the first two episodes downloaded. :( But maybe I'll watch them all in one go once the last episode airs. BUT REICHENBACH AGAIN. WHY IS THIS JANUARY SUDDENLY THE REICHENBACH MONTH? WHYYY? OH MY GOD, MOFFAT BETTER NOT KILL SHERLOCK. I WON'T FORGIVE HIM IF HE DOES.
Ahaha, yes, I have seen some rather contradictory views about her. Don't get me wrong, I adore Irene - but for once I would just like to see an adaptation where she and Sherlock don't fall in love. In the original story she beats him and then just disappears to marry someone else. And Holmes keeps her photo because she has earned his respect, not because he has fallen in love. I've always seen Holmes as asexual (is that the right term?), as this brilliant mastermind who slowly learns to respect other people, thanks to Watson, but who only has one true friend and is content with that. (Watson is the ladies' man. :'D) And I like Holmes and Irene in Ritchie's movies because it fits the tone of the movies - but I would just want to see an adaptation where Irene beats Holmes and then flies away with his fiancé. *shrug*
I KNOOOOOOW. AND I'VE STILL NOT SEEN IT FOR THE SECOND TIME, WHY WHY WHY. MAYBE NEXT WEEK. HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK. IT BETTER BE NEXT WEEK!
BUT ALSO I'M SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT BECAUSE THE FALLING AND HOLMES LETTING WATSON KNOW THAT HE'S STILL ALIVE, ALL THOSE THINGS WILL JUST REMIND ME OF SHERLOCK AND HOW JOHN DOESN'T KNOW AND HOW SAD IT ALL IS AND OALKJLF;ALKJFLDJFL;ALFKJDLD. :( :( :(
and it totally reminded me of that bit in the first movie, with the explosion and watson reaching out and yelling for holmes? yeah. except way sadder. it was like ... idek. he was just so resigned. like this is it. this is the day sherlock holmes dies, and there is nothing watson can do to change that. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. ;_____________;
HEE HER REACTION TO FINDING OUT THAT THERE'S ANOTHER HOLMES! :D :D ALSO STEELY CALM IN THE FACE OF ASSASSINS, BEING DUMPED INTO A RIVER, AND NAKED MYCROFT. I LOVE IT! :D :D ALLLLSO NOOMI RAPACE! MOSTLY I DON'T EVEN LIKE SCANDINAVIAN MOVIES MUCH, BUT I WATCHED MÄN SOM HATAR KVINNOR BECAUSE SHE'S IN IT AND SHE'S AMAZING. ♥ oh man, yes! i mean, well. i think i prefer andrew scott's moriarty, because he's got that sharp edge of insanity and utter psychopathy thrown into his character, but on the other hand, you can't really compare the two, because one is modern, one is not. but i did love movie!moriarty, he was very chilling. (that torture scene? christ!) ALSO IRENE. D:
OH MAN, THE GOOD OLD TIMES WHEN I HADN'T YET SEEN THAT LAST EPISODE, EH? HOW BLISSFUL THOSE TIMES NOW SEEM!
and i quite agree with you re: sherlock & irene. and yes, sherlock's always been asexual to me. but i don't think he fell in love with irene in the show, it was more intrigue and respect, i think. she was the one person he couldn't read, and that's what made her so fascinating. and i think it says it all when you think about it, that when he couldn't read her, he instinctively glanced at john, to make sure that his abilities had stayed intact. he could read john, easy as anything. he reassured himself by doing it. and that's just it - i don't think he'd die for irene idler. but it's already been proven that he'd quite gladly die for john watson, and cause him endless grief just to keep him safe. if that's not love, i don't know what is. and it's funny, because when you say love, people instantly think 'in love', or something sexual. i think it's more that sherlock's platonically in love with john, because he's his friend and i only have one. idk.
STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT FOR THE SECOND TIME. DON'T KNOW WHEN I WILL. EITHER THIS WEEKEND, OR SOMETIME ... LATER. I DON'T KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAINNNNNNN.
