Summary: Cho Kyuhyun. A normal high school boy, in his last year before heading off to college. He has a pretty wealthy family, an annoying unni, two loving parents, and in many of his hyung's eyes....a hot girlfriend. But what happens when his beyond beautiful of a girlfriend.....accidently introduces someone else to him? And what is that person is her own brother. Sequel to "A KyuWook Story" by kyulyn.
“Kim Ryeowook.......will you be my boyfriend?”
I opened the box and showed him what was inside. His mouth dropped open into a perfect “o” and he froze, his eyes widening.
I chuckled, “Hahaha....it's okay. You don’t need to speak yet anyways.” I gently grabbed what was inside of the box and held it up in the sunlight so he could see it. I grunted, “I.....ummm......bought this for you Ryeowook......”
Ryeowook’s eyes were still wide with shock. I laid the present in my hand and gestured for him to take it, setting the small box on the ground. He slowly reached his hand out, his eyes growing even larger as he held it up and it dangled in the sunlight.
“Would you like me to put it on for you?” I stood up and walked behind him, putting my upper arms on his shoulder and lacing my fingers together in front, placing my head beside his and resting my chin on his shoulder. He slowly nodded. I held it in front of both of us so that we could look at it.
“Kyu....hyun….I - “
“You said that we weren't really dating, and we weren't really a couple. So, I wanted to make it official. I…uh…bought this you this necklace.” I whispered into his ear softly.
“I- I - “
“You love music, right? I got you a diamond, double....uh....16th note? Is that what this charm is?”
He looked at it, “Yeah, it's a double 16th note.”
“Yes, I got you this diamond, music note necklace. I know you love music, and - “
“Kyuhyun….I - “
I interrupted and continued, “And on the back,” I turned the charm around, “I had it customized. Look. Our initials. I know it’s really cheesy, but still, on one of the notes, KH, me, and on the other, RW, you. And in the middle on the double bars….a heart. I love you Ryeowook. Will you officially be my boyfriend?”
“Kyuhyun.....I really don't know what to say or do….”
I chuckled, “Please say yes.......”
He was silent. I gently unhooked the thin, fragile, gold chain and brought it around his neck, placing it around his thin throat but not hooking it until I received an answer.
“So, Kim Ryeowook.....will you be my boyfriend?” I stepped closer until his back molded with my chest.
It sounded like Ryeowook sniffled and he nodded frantically, “Yes. I will. Of course I will.”
I clicked the hooks in place and fixed it for him, walking in front of him and wrapping my arms around his waist, resting my head atop his, “I love you.......so much......” He sniffled and I tilted his chin up, tears streaming down his face and stared into his big, brown eyes. I chuckled and bent my neck down until our lips met in a soft kiss. He sighed and threaded his fingers through my hair, and pulled me down more. I smile into the kiss and pulled back, raising a hand to brush my finger tips along his jaw. He let out a high-pitched, cute little sob and I hugged him tight, his face burying into my neck as I rubbed soothing circles in his back.
He pulled away and rubbed his nose and eyes, sniffling cutely and blinking rapidly, “Come on. We better go back out there; we've been gone for a while now.”
“Okay. Whatever you want to do, babe.”
He froze and quirked an eyebrow at me, “What did you just call me?”
I grinned, winking at him, “I called you babe. Don’t you like it? I think now that you’re my boyfriend I think I can call you ‘baby’, ‘babe’, all that other stuff. You know how couples do that right?”
Ryeowook only stared before a light blush colored his cheeks and he averted his gaze, turning his head away and huddling closer, “Call me that again.”
I chuckled, leaning down and pressing my lips against his ear, and whispering, “Baby….”
If I’m not mistaken, from what I heard, it was if Ryeowook giggled.
“Again.”
“My babes.” I parted my lips, nibbling at his ear.
“Again.”
I chuckled, “I love you my baby, Ryeowook….”
Ryeowook burst into sweet giggles, wiggling in my arms and gently trying to push me away. After his giggles subsided and a bit of an awkward silence settled in Ryeowook spoke up.
“Come on, boyfriend, let's go.” Ryeowook gave me his heart-melting smile.
Oh no....that smile......
I froze, just standing there watching Ryeowook’s retreating back.
“Kyuhyun? Are you coming?”
I broke my trance, “Yeah, sorry. Coming.”
We walked out from behind the booth and all of our friends were standing around talking. We walked over to them and Hankyung spotted us, and ran towards us, “Hey! Kyuhyun!”
“Hey Hankyung, what's up?”
“You won't believe this! Sungmin bought us all Fast Passes for Lazer Quest! We get to jump all the way to the front of the line!”
“Woah! Really? That's great!”
Ryeowook smiled and rubbed his eyes, “That's really cool.”
Ryeowook and I walked over to the rest of our friends and squeezed into the little circle.
“Hey everybody! So we all ready to go shoot each other with lazers?” Jung Soo shouted.
Sungmin’s eyes shot open and he stared with horrified eyes, “What? Shoot each other with lazers?”
Kibum smiled, “No no no, Sungmin, they're fake don't worry, and when you get hit it only makes the vest they make you wear vibrate a little.” Sungmin let out a sigh of relief.
“Come on! Let’s go!”
We all walked across the park to Lazer Quest, and we when we got there, there were two signs, the right reading “Regular Line,” the left reading “Fast Pass”. We looked at our tickets and ran to the fast pass line (but there honestly wasn’t really a line, most of the people were in the regular line).
“Welcome to Lazer Quest. At this time we would like to welcome in our 'Fast Pass' holders.”
“Hey! Come on! Hurry up So Hee!”
“Ok ok! I'm coming!”
We all turned around and saw So Hee and her friends running to the 'Fast Pass' line like us.
“Hi Wookie! Hi Kyuhyun!” She skidded to a stop.
“Hey So Hee. Are you going to do this too?” Ryeowook threw a thumb behind him.
“Yup! Jae Min asked if we wanted to go here, because he thought that you guys would be here, and he convinced us all that Lazer Quest was fun!”
I furrowed my eyebrows, “Wait...who? Who's Jae Min?”
“I'm Jae Min. Nice to meet you...Kyuhyun? Is that your name?”
A tall, good-looking guy stepped out from behind HyoYeon and Yuri.
I looked up at him, “Oh, hey. Yeah, I'm Kyuhyun.”
Jae Min smiled, “Cool. I heard you were So Hee's ex-boyfriend? I'm her new one, haha.” I glanced at So Hee, who was looking at guilty as ever.
“Hahaha, yes, I was her ex.”
“Cool, so we'll all get to go to Lazer Quest togeth - “ Jae Min's voice trailed off and he stared past me at......Ryeowook.
Ryeowook blushed in embarrassment at how intensely Jae Min had begun staring at him, like he’s never seen another human being before.
“Hey, uh, I'm Ryeowook, So Hee's older brother.” Ryeowook smiled and held out his hand.
Jae Min blinked and took Ryeowook’s petite hand, lingering just a little too long for my liking, “Oh, hi. I've wanted to meet you for a while now….”
“Oh, you have? Hahaha, thanks.”
“Yeah...”
What's with this guy?
"OKAY EVERYONE, WE ARE NOW OPENING LAZER QUEST. FAST PASS HOLDERS GET YOUR TICKETS READY.”
They took our tickets and we entered into a room with vests, lazers, and goggles all hanging on racks. It was all dark in the room except for the little glow in the dark alien pictures on the walls that frankly, crept me out a little.
*SLAM*
We all turned around immediately, watching as the lock on the entrance door automatically turned and locked us in.
Sungmin squeaked, “Uh. Uh. UH….”
“Don't worry Sungmin, the 'aliens' aren't going to eat you!” Youngwoon teased.
“Eat?” Sungmin yelped. Kibum rolled his eyes and glared at Youngwoon, “Geez….cut him some slack, dude.”
“Please take one vest, one pair of goggles, and one lazer. If any assistance is needed, ask a friend.”
Everyone geared up. I finished snapping the buckle on vest and looked over at Ryeowook. He was near the vest rack, twirling around in circles trying to catch the belt that hooks the vest together in the back.
I chuckled and started walking towards him, “Hahaha. Ryeowook, do you need - “
“Ryeowook? Do you need any help?”
Jae min walked straight in front of me and cut me off, jogging towards Ryeowook and began feeling around his body for the belt when it was right by his hand.
What the hell? What’s with this guy? He didn’t just touch my Ryeowook like that did he?
“Uh...I don't know....” Ryeowook mumbled and looked over Jae Min at me, his big eyes worried and pleading, staring into my own that were filled with fury.
.....this guy is really pissing me off....
“Are you sure?” Jae Min asked, still patting Ryeowook's vest.
Ryeowook smiled at Jae Min and gently pushed his hands away, “Uh....it's okay, I don't need any help.”
Jae Min raised an eyebrow, and shrugged, ”Okay,” then made his way back towards So Hee and slung an arm around her shoulders.
I glared at Jae Min and stood next to Ryeowook.
“Umm...Kyuhyun?”
I turned around my attention to Ryeowook, “Yeah?”
“Could you help me with this please?” He pointed to the belt, wherever it was....I couldn't see it anymore.
“Hahaha. Sure.” I walked over to him and searched for the belt in the darkness, “Why didn't you want Jae Min to help you?” I found the belt and clicked it together, lifting my gaze until it met with Ryeowook’s.
Ryeowook stared up at me with big, rounded, sparkling eyes even in the darkness, “I would prefer my....boyfriend to touch me rather than a person I just met touch me.....” The longer we stared, the shorter the distance between our face became, and -
“OKAY EVERYBODY - “
The call over the intercom stopped us from almost kissing in front of everybody.
That was close.....
“ - DO YOU SEE THE COLOR ON YOU VEST? THERE IS RED, AND BLUE, YOU SEPERATE INTO THE RED TEAM AND THE BLUE TEAM AND WORK TOGETHER......"
I looked at my vest. Mine was blue. I looked at Ryeowook's....was red.
“Hey! Kyuhyun! Looks like we're on the same team! Cool! Let's do this!” Jae Min came between me and Ryeowook and held up his hand for me to give him a high five.
I smiled, “Hahaha....yeah,” and gave him a high-five. Jae Min walked back over to So Hee. Ryeowook looked at me and stood beside me again, “Good luck.”
I leaned over and nibbled at his ear, “You too, babe. I'll go easy on you…”
Ryeowook jerked away and glared, “What? You’ll go easy on me? I don’t think so. It’s me who has to go easy on you.”
“Who's the gamer here? Me or you? Come on baby, really.” I grinned and ran a hand down his arm.
Ryeowook brushed my touch off and crossed his arms and stared up at me snootily, “I believe it's me.”
I turned my body towards him and placed my hands on my hips, staring down into his chocolaty orbs, “Hahaha, no it's not.”
“Yes it is.”
“No it's not!”
“Yes it is!”
Each time we yelled in a whisper, our faces closed in closer and closer until our noses brushed. I glared at him, “I think I definitely know how to play 'games' better than you Ryeowook......”
Ryeowook smirked with a roll of his eyes, “That's gross, but I'm pretty good at continuing 'games,' don't you think?”
“Yes, I have to admit you are....” I grabbed his hand and pulled him closer, leaning down to kiss his -
“Okay! Once you have separated into your teams, good luck! Let the adventure begin. Welcome to Lazer Quest……” A rather sinister voice chuckled in the intercom.
I stared down into Ryeowook’s half-lidded eyes, his eye lids fluttered and he stared up at me. I smirked and bent my neck down, pressing my lips to his jaw and whispering against it, “See you in there, Ryeowook.” I pulled back.
Ryeowook averted his eyes and pulled away from me, getting into position at the starting line, “You too...”
Two pairs of huge, double doors in front of us whooshed open, a gust of wind smacking us in the face. There was a red lit tunnel and a blue lit tunnel, lights flashed and alarms sounded.
"BEGIN!"
And we all ran in.....

This is huge! Holy crap dude!
My team looked around our new surroundings quickly, discovering by looking up that there are 3 floors that we can run up and down from. The blue team was Sungmin, Heechul, Jung Soo, Jae Min, Shindong, Donghae, So Hee, Yuri, and I. The red team was the rest of them: Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, Yesung, Youngwoon, HyoYeon, Hankyung, Siwon, and Kibum.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Red alarm lights appeared out of nowhere in the scary darkness and blared loudly, we covered our ears and the girls in our group screamed.
“Code Red! Code Red! Lazer Quest has begun! Start your lazers! And…..GO!”
Donghae looked around like a lost puppy, “What the heck do we do?” I shrugged in response, not wanting to have to yell over the loud alarms.
“We need someone to lead us! Uh…Jung Soo! Be the leader!” Yuri squeaked and shoved him in front of us.
Jung Soo spun around, “Why me?”
Shindong smacked him upside the head, “You’re the oldest out of all of us! How would you feel if Kyuhyun dongsaeng ordered you around?”
“Fine!” Jung Soo yelled, “Okay, uh…look! There’s some monitor maps over there! Hurry up everbody!”
We all followed Jung Soo over to the huge computer map on the wall. It showed the entire building, all the floors and where each player was located.
“Look! It says the red team is on Floor 3!” Jae min yelled, pointing to the screen and nearly smacking me in the head.
“What floor are we on?” So Hee asked, eyes big and scared. We looked around for any signs that told us what floor we were on.
Sungmin scanned the screen, “It says on the screen! Blue Team: Floor 2!”
“Okay! Good! We’re not on the same floor! We have time to plan!” Jung Soo yelled and huddled us all together.
Heechul, the diva he is, just had to check his reflection in the screen, “No! We don’t! Look! It says that the red tem is moving…wait! What the heck? What happened to them? They disappeared!”
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPPPPPP.............*
The pitch of the alarms raised 2 octaves higher and nearly busted our eardrums, the lights flashing like light speed, blaring crazily….then shut down completely, everyone so quiet suddenly.
“Ahhh! Help!” So Hee and Yuri yelped, holding onto each other.
*BEEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP RING RING RING*
The alarms sounded again.
"Code red! Code Red! Detecting maps have been destroyed!”
“What? Do they mean that the maps that we were looking at before are destroyed now?” We turned around to look at the screen. It was blank, buzzing a little as if it were actually broken and sparking.
So Hee and Yuri screamed. Jung Soo face-palmed and gathered everyone around, “Okay okay! Calm down everyone! Calm down! Okay! The last time we saw the map, it said that the red team was on the move. So they are all probably going to come soon! Everyone hide with a partner behind these walls! Go!”
We all ran behind or around a corner with our partner, crouching down. So Hee went with Yuri, Heechul went with Jung Soo, Shindong went with Donghae, and Sungmin, Jae Min, and I all hid together.
*BEEP BEEP RING RING RIIIINNNGGGGG*
“Code red! Red team detected on Floor 2! Code red!” The alarm screamed louder.
“Hey everybody! Come on! Hurry up!” We heard Kibum yell from the entrance to Floor 2. We all crouched behind the walls and prepared ourselves.
“Come on! Hurry up! Hurry up!” Hankyung and Eunhyuk yelled.
Then it went quiet, no voices could be heard, the alarm bells still rung, but we didn't hear anyone screaming or yelling. We waited and -
” Ahhhhh! Help us!” came So Hee’s and Yuri’s scream.
“Everyone! Go go go! We have to help So Hee and Yuri! Run! ”
We all ran over to where So Hee and Yuri were supposed to be hiding, skidding around the corner…..
“Well hello Blue Team!” Youngwoon and Hankyung grinned.
The entire red team had us cornered, all lined up in formation and their guns pointed at us.
I spotted So Hee squatting on the ground, and yelled to her, “Come here So Hee!” So Hee ran over into my arms.
“Yuri! Come here!” Jung Soo yelled, Yuri running over and hugging him.
“So do you guys surrender?” Siwon yelled over the alarms.
We stayed silent, Jung Soo’s eyes narrowing and holding Yuri tighter, “So who’s your leader?”
Everyone on the red team slowly shuffled to the side to reveal…..
“Ryeowook….” Heechul hissed.
Ryeowook came out from behind the rest of them twirling his gun on his finger and grinning widely, “Hey Blue Team, who’s your leader? ”
We pointed to Jung Soo.
“Really? Nice choice. So? Do you and your team surrender, Jung Soo?”
Ryeowook smiled at Jung Soo, his eyes then flickering towards me and tilting his head to the side, looking ever so sexy, especially with that sensual glint in his eyes.
Jung Soo scoffed,”…..Hell no! Run everybody!”
We all screamed, darting off in different directions away from the ran away from the red team.
“Follow them….” I heard Ryeowook command his team, “Eunhyuk, you got Donghae! Yesung, you got Shindong! Kibum you got….” He continued naming them.
When did he become so demanding all of a sudden?
“And as for me? I got Kyuhyun…..Let’s go! Move it, Red Team!”
Jung Soo yelled over his shoulder at all of us right before his rounded the corner, “Okay everybody! Spread out onto different floors and different parts of the building! Go!”
We all ran different directions I ran up to the third floor with Jae Min, Sungmin, and So Hee.
“Come on, guys! Spread out!” I gestured for So Hee and Jae Min to hurry up.
A couple seconds later.....
“Ahhhhh! Help! My gun isn’t working!” A girl’s shriek resounded (I'm guessing it’s So Hee).
I ran to her voice and found her.
“Ahhhh! Help!” So Hee shrieked as she was being pelted by HyoYeon.
“I’m sorry, So Hee! But this is a game you know!”
I got my lazer out and shot HyoYeon a couple times. She squeaked, her vest vibrating and her lazer temporarily stunned.
“Run, So Hee!”
“Thank you, Kyuhyun!”
“Woah! What happened here?” Jae Min came running around the corner.
“You! Where were you? You’re my boyfriend, Jae Min! You were supposed to save me! Instead my ex-boyfriend saved me! Some gentlemen you are!”
I laughed then hid behind a wall to see if anyone was coming.
*BEEP BEEP RING RING RINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG*
"Code red! Floor 3 shutting down! Get off floor three! Floor 3 shutting down!”
“What?”
The lights on floor three started to flicker and turn off one by one, pipes bursting air and the floor beneath us began to shake.
“Come on! Run, So Hee!” Jae Min screamed, dragging a frightened So Hee behind him.
“Ahhh!”
I ran out of the door to floor 3, jumping out the entrance and landing perfectly (so that’s where karate classes come in handy…).
*SLAM*
I spun around just to see the door to Floor 3 slammed shut.
Jae Min’s eyes widened in horror, “Holy shit, dude! What the hell is this game?”
“It’s Lazer Quest!”
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"All players trapped on Floor 3 please exit and go through the emergency door. Follow the arrows on the ground to the elevator and exit into the ‘Captives Room’. Floor 3 is now shut down! The remaining players….go! Continue the battle!”
Alarms sounded again and lights lit up the stairs to lead us back down to Level 2 (at least these geeks who make these games have some sense…..).
“Where’s HyoYeon?” So Hee yelled.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Our guns and lazer screens beeped and read something....
FLOOR 3 TRAPPED PLAYERS: KIM HYOYEON
“Ahhh! I don’t want to get trapped like unni did!”
“Then move baby!”
We ran down the stairs and onto floor 2. I looked around, sighing out in exasperation at how even more chaotic is was down here then up there, down here was the real action. People pelted each other with lazers, Donghae cornered Eunhyuk and kept shooting him. Kibum was chasing Heechul around. We split up and I ran into a small room on floor 2 and hid behind a wall.
“You better run!” I heard Jung Soo yell. Jung Soo was chasing two people, shooting them, and as far as I could make out, the people look like Siwon and Hankyung, who were trying to shoot Jung Soo back.
I blew out a shaky breath, the intensity of it all speeding up my heart rate.
This is actually kind of scary…..
“Where is he….”
I heard a sweet, angelic voice, even though that person was yelling, they still sounded as if they were speaking normally.
It was Ryeowook.
Ryeowook skidded to a stop, his back towards me and if he turned around he’d surely see me.
Uh oh. I don’t have enough room to run….he’ll notice….crap…
“Got you!”
A deeper voice came out of nowhere, a person skidded out from a wall and ran into Ryeowook, grabbing him from behind and trapping his thin arms at his sides.
“Woah! Let go! Who are you?” Ryeowook yelled, squirming and wiggling.
“You don’t need to know who I am…..”
It was a guy for sure. He had a blue vest on, but with the goggles on I couldn’t make out the face. Of course I could recognize Ryeowook anywhere. He could be wearing a ballerina costume (I’d like to see his thighs in that…..) and be in a crowd of girls, and I’d still be able to find him.
“Let go of me! Who the hell are you?” Ryeowook screeched, kicking to no prevail.
“You don’t need to know. The only thing you need to know is…..I like you….”
He spun Ryeowook around by the shoulders, wrapping an arm around Ryeowook’s waist and pulling them flush.
Woah! What the hell? He can’t touch my Ryeowook like that! Who the hell is this dude?
“Kyuhyun? Is it you? What the - “
Ryeowook didn’t finish his sentence. That person silenced him with a kiss, grabbing Ryeowook’s neck and pulling them closer, and from what I could see…..it wasn’t just a peck on the lips.
What the hell? Kyuhyun! Get out there! Don’t let that bastard kiss the man you love!
I couldn’t move, frozen on the spot as anger and fury weighed me down. Ryeowook’s small hands pushed the person’s shoulders as he kept trying to pry himself free, but then…he didn’t hesitate, kissing the person back and wrapping his arms around the other person’s neck, giving in.
Ryeowook! That’s not me!
I finally came to my sense, all the anger burning in the pit of my stomach and fueling my energy. I rolled up my sleeves and walked in long strides.
“Hey you! What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
*SLAM*
I threw a hard punch to his face, careful not to hit Ryeowook. The person stumbled back and slammed into a wall, sliding down to the ground, their head lolling to the side.
“What the - ? Who are you? You’re on his team! Why did you just punch Kyuhyun?” Ryeowook yelled at me.
I sighed and ripped off my goggles. Ryeowook’s eyes widened.
“What the - “ Ryeowook slipped off his goggles and rubbed his eyes, “Kyuhyun? Is that you?”
I threw a hand in the air, “Yeah! Who did you think it was?”
“I thought that he was you! I didn’t know!” Ryeowook yelled, pointing to the guy on the floor.
“Who the hell is this person? And why did you kiss this idiot?”
“I don’t know! Again! I thought it was you! That’s why I kissed him back!”
I grinned inwardly but kept a serious face for the matter at hand, “Really? Okay, let’s see who this bastard is!”
I walked over to the guy on the ground, grabbing his goggles and pulling them off…..
“Jae Min! ” Ryeowook screeched, a look of disgust on his face, “What the - “
Ryeowook started spitting and wiping his lips, trying to get Jae Min's mark off himself.
“Jae Min? What the hell? I thought he was dating So Hee! ”
“That’s what I thought too! ”
“Ahh…geez….”
I snapped my eyes over at the voice below me, glaring at Jae Min on the floor.
“You!” I bent down, grabbing him by the collar and shoving him against a wall, “What the hell is wrong with you? Why did you kiss Ryeowook?”
*PUNCH*
I punched him across the mouth.
“Ahh! Kyuhyun! Geeze! What’s wrong with you?” Jae Min growled.
I hissed, “That’s what I’m asking you! Give me an answer now!”
Jae Min slowly lifted his face, his eyes dark and angered, “No. And Ryeowook…..is mine.”
“I’m yours?” Ryeowook screamed, “What the hell? No I’m not! I barely now you, you sick person!”
*PUNCH*
Ryeowook punched Jae Min hard across the face.
I grinned at Ryeowook, never knowing such a small thing like him had that in him, “Nice!”
“Thanks! It kinda hurt my hand though….” I smiled, quickly grabbing his hand and pressing a kiss to it before turning back to look at Jae Min who was already glaring at me.
“I like you, Ryeowook. Actually, I think I might love you…..” Jae Min said, voice low and sinister.
*PUNCH* *PUNCH*
I grunted at the sudden pain in my stomach and my jaw, falling back and hitting a wall, my lips bleeding as my vision went a little blurry and I slid to the ground.
“What the hell, Jae Min?” Ryeowook screamed.
“You’re mine, Ryeowook! Do you know why I dated So Hee? She showed me a picture of you on one of our ‘dates’. Well, she thought it was a date, but for me, it was an investigation.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Ryeowook’s screamed on the verge of tears.
“When So Hee and I were on a date, I kept asking her about you, finding out more and more about you….and I fell in love. I love you, Ryeowook! You’re mine - “
“No! I’m not!” Ryeowook interrupted, “I’m not yours! I will never be yours! I’m Kyuhyun’s I will always and forever be Kyuhyun’s! No one elses! I don’t want to be anyone elses! Leave me and my boyfriend alone!” Ryeowook screeched through tear-filled eyes. Jae Min was silenced.
“Ryeowook…” I said as loud as I could, my vision clearing up as I reached a hand towards him.
Ryeowook spun around, his big, brown, beautiful eyes now flowing with tears as he spotted me. His lips quivered, “Kyuhyun!”
He came over, lowering onto his knees and cupping my face, staring at me in horror. “Oh my god! Are you okay? You’re mouth is bleeding!”
“Baby, don’t cry, I’m fi - “
“No you’re not!” He squeaked, “You’re far from fine! You’re bleeding! What’s that red stain on your shirt?” His petite hands slipped under my shirt and lifted it, his eyes widening and he sobbed, “Your stomach is bleeding, Kyuhyun!”
I lowered my line of sight from Jae Min to my stomach, through the haze I could faintly see a long scratch, thin at the egdes and wide in the middle. Ryeowook spun around and glared at very satisfied looking Jae Min.
“Jae Min! How could you do that?” Ryeowook cried, wiping at his tears.
“He punched me first!”
“I don’t care!” Ryeowook screeched, averting his gaze from Jae Min before lifting his face once again and spitting through clenched teeth, “Show me your hand…”
“My what?”
“Show me your hand right now!”
Jae Min scoffed with a roll of the eyes and stuck his fist out, a sharp, sparkling, black ring perched on his ring finger.
“You bastard! Because you punched Kyuhyun with that stupid ring on your hand, he’s bleeding now!”
Jae Min scoffed, “Now does it really look like I care? ” Ryeowook’s jaw dropped to the floor and Jae Min only smirked, “I don’t care about him, at all. I would’ve punched him harder if you weren’t - “
“Shut up! Just shut up!” Ryeowook sobbed, “Don’t even finish that sentence! How could you even think that? You sick-minded bastard! Get away from me and my boyfriend!”
He rolled his eyes, “Fine. I’ll leave you two helpless people alone.” And strode off.
Ryeowook watched him walk away with tear filled eyes. Lazer Quest still continued, the game still going, the alarms blaring loudly, but all of those sounds were blocked out, except for the sound of Ryeowook’s concerned, heavenly voice.
Ryeowook turned and looked at me, “Kyuhyun, please! Tell me you’re okay?”
“I’m fine. I’m okay, Ryeowook.”
Ryeowook broke down in tears, crying harder, his tiny body shaking with his sobs. He grabbed my face hastily and kissed me, his tongue swiping along the cut and ridding of the cursed blood extracted by Jae Min. The metallic tang of blood faded away finally and I cupped Ryeowook’s neck, sucking at his lips and taking the dominant role.
“Code red! Code red! Floor 2 now shutting down!”
Light began to flicker off, pipes bursting and busting, the intensity of it all almost the same level as if it were real. I curled an arm around Ryeowook’s waist and pulled him against me, regardless of the blood oozing from the lengthy cut, he gasped into the kiss, hot tears falling from his eyes and splashing on my skin.
I pulled back and kissed his neck, “Ryeowook, don’t be so worried. I’ll be fine. It’s just a little scratch…”
“A little?” Ryeowook’s throat vibrated from his squeak, “How is an 8 inch long gash ‘a little’?”
“Please stop crying, babes. I’m hurt whenever you’re hurt.”
“But you’re already hurting! And you’re hurting me when you get hurt!”
“I know, but still. I’m telling you I’m fine. So calm down, okay? Everything’s fine.”
*SLAM*
The door to the 2nd floor slammed shut and darkness engulfed us suddenly. Our lazers beeped:
FLOOR 2 TRAPPED PLAYERS: CHO KYUHYUN, KIM RYEOWOOK, LEE JAE MIN
Another door opened and a bright light shined in our faces. Supposing that it was the exit, Ryeowook yelled for me to stand up, helping me up and slinging my arm around his broad shoulders. We slowly wobbled over to the door, walking down the white hallway and down the stairs into the “Captives Room”.
I leaned back against a wall, still holding on to Ryeowook, his body snuggled against mine.
“Kyuhyun, we need to go home now.”
“No. Not we. Just me. I don’t want you to leave because of me.”
“No. You listen to me, and you listen to me good, Mister!”
My eyes widened as Ryeowook grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and yanked me forward, our foreheads pressing together as I stared into his very determined, chocolaty-brown eyes.
“We are both going home. Not you. Not me. We. We are both going home. Now kiss me you fool….” Ryeowook said hastily, averting his gaze as his cheeks flushed an adorable shade of red.
I grinned, bending my neck down and capturing his lips in a firm, searing kiss, “I love you. I love it when you’re all demanding, babe…”
Ryeowook gasped, “I love you too.”

After a lot of persuading on my part, I eventually convinced Kyuhyun that he needed to at least get the cut treated and bandaged (but no he just has to act all tough and strong). We slowly made our way to the medical building, along the way, noonas from the water-ride scurried up to us, asking if we needed assistance, but in turn I waved them off with a small smile and continued hobbling.
“Okay! He should be all good now.” A doctor came out from behind a curtain and I stood up.
“Really?”
“Yes.” He gestured for me to go back.
I bowed and slipped behind the curtain, blushing slightly at the sight of Kyuhyun shirtless (minus the bandage wrapped tight around his torso), legs hanging off the medical bed he sat on. He noticed my presence and smiled, patting the spot next to him.
“Hey….”
I sat down, “Hi. Are you feeling okay now?”
“Yeah. I’m fine, Ryeowook. The real question is, are you? You over-reacted a bit there back in Lazer Quest.”
I blushed, “Oh yeah, I’m not sure what got into me, but seriously! He kissed me! And he would’ve punched you even harder if I wasn’t standing there! I wasn’t just going to sit back and let him say all that!”
Kyuhyun chuckled, raising his hand and caressing my cheek gently with his knuckles, “Thank you for caring for me Ryeowook.”
My eyes fluttered sleepily at the soothing warmth and I leaned my head against Kyuhyun’s shoulder, sighing as I felt his lips against my temple. I giggled and sat up, hopping up from the bed and brushing myself off.
“Come on, we should go home now. We’ve been here for a while. It’s been at least an hour or so.”
Kyuhyun slipped his shirt on and slowly slid off the bed, “What time is it?”
“Uh, I think 4:30, but the sun is already half gone.”
“Oh okay.”
We thanked the doctors, bowing and walking to the exit. I rolled my eyes and walked away as Kyuhyun tried to lead me out of the building by the waist. I herded his hands away and stumbled away out of his grasp. It took at least another 30 minutes of wandering through the park, us goofing off too much and getting lost in the “American Village”.
Kyuhyun, being the hyper-active kid he is, just had to suggest we race to the car. I won, hopping in the car first, laughing and lolling my head back against the headrest in exhaustion. A couple seconds later, Kyuhyun hopped in, laughing and leaning against the window.
“I win.” I panted, smiling and strapping myself in, turning on the air condition and adjusting the mirrors.
No answer.
I turned my head to look at -
“Mmm! Kyu…hyun!”
I squeaked, my lips captured in a heated kiss, a tongue already licking at mine, probing in my mouth. I sighed, my hands raising and tangling in his hair. A click of a belt resounded against the windows and I was pulled into a warm embrace, my legs spreading on either side of his hip, gasping down into the kiss as he held me up.
We broke together and I gasped for air, gulping and bending my neck down to initiate another searing kiss. Kyuhyun growled softly and tightened his grip around my waist. The heat of the enclosed car finally getting to me; I shivered as a warm hand slipped under my shirt and massaged the small of my back.
No! Ryeowook! Bad Ryeowook! Don’t give in so easily! That’s exactly what he wants!
My eyes shot open and I tore away from him, falling back in my seat, whining slightly as I hit my head, the dull pain making me wince. I gasped for air, faintly hearing Kyuhyun’s harsh but controlled breathing - for some reason - right in my ear. I popped an eye open, to see Kyuhyun’s body arching over mine, head beside mine, his breath tickling my ear. I shivered as his tongue curled around my earlobe and I unconsciously wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Baby….” He breathed, voice low and dark.
I gulped and managed a small squeak, blushing embarrassment and burying my face in the side of his neck.
“Can I ask you something?”
I nodded and he pulled back, staring down at me with a handsome smile, his hands trapping me against the window. He leaned down more and I shied, blushing furiously but not being able to rip my gaze from his penetrating one.
“Okay, so….I’ve only really asked this once in my entire life, and it was with So Hee and - “
My eyebrows furrowed together and I pushed myself up, supporting myself back on my hands on the car seat and pushing Kyuhyun back, “Where are you going with this, Kyuhyun?”
Kyuhyun bit his lip, his confident self now gone, “I mean….do you….”
“Yeah?”
He leaned in closer and I blew out a shaky breath, “Do you want to go on a date with….Sungmin? “
“What?”
*RING RING RING*
Kyuhyun sat back on his heels, waving his hand frantically, “No no no no. I mean it’s Sungmin that’s calling me.”
I nodded, watching him pick up his phone and put it to his ear, slumping back in his seat and strapping himself in, gesturing with his free hand for me to start driving. I rolled my eyes, breathing deeply to calm myself from before and started the ignition, backing up and making my way out of the parking lot.
The entire drive Sungmin kept Kyuhyun on the phone, every now and then I glanced at him, slightly jealous that my Kyu was talking to another man, but to my bad luck each time I spared Kyuhyun a millisecond of a glance, he always caught me. And usually when he caught me he’d chuckle or wink and I’d nearly lose control of the car…..
“What could it be, Sungmin? I was in the middle of something important….”
“Oh! My bad! But we were all wondering what happened to you guys!”
“Ryeowook and I decided to go home early, maybe just watch a movie or something. Lazer Quest was boring us.”
“Well someone is picky aren’t they? Haha, anyways, I’m having a sleepover next Wednesday. We’re on fall break anyways and my parents don’t really mind and I feel lonely and I’m inviting everyone to a sleepover at my house and and and - “
“Woah woah woah! Sungmin chill dude. Okay. Start over please.”
“I’m having a sleepover this Wednesday. We’re on fall break so we have a month off school. My parents don’t really care, I asked them for their permission and they said yes. Everyone else already said they’d be able to come. So would you and Ryeowook like to come?”
“Of course we would. Thanks. Okay, got to go. Night, Sungmin.”
“Okay! Night Kyu! See you and Ryeowook next Wednesday! 6:00 PM!”
Kyuhyun chuckled; I glared. He raised an eyebrow, slinging an arm around my shoulder and leaning over, his breath puffing against my ear.
“Sorry baby. Sungmin kept me on the phone. Why do you look like you want to kill me?”
I rolled my eyes, “You didn’t even ask me if I wanted to go or not!”
“But I knew you’d want to go….considering I’d be there.”
I shrugged his arm off my shoulders and nudged his face away, focusing on the road and hitting the turns sharp, finally realizing we entered our neighborhood and decreased the speed, “Well that gives me a good reason not to go. Just because you’re going to be there, I won’t go.”
I turned into the gates and parked the car, turning it off and crossing my arms, turning away and staring out the window. There was a click of a seatbelt and soon enough warm arms wrapped around me, lips brushing gently against the sensitive skin under my ear. I shivered a little but kept composed and unfastened my seatbelt, scooting farther away and closer to the door.
Kyuhyun smiled against my neck, “Come on, baby. Don’t be like this....”
“I’ll be whatever I want to be.”
“You know you’d go on the story that I was going to be there.”
I scoffed, turning my head just slightly and immediately meeting gazes with Kyuhyun’s playful eyes, that handsome smirk always getting me and I blinked incoherently before speaking, a grin replacing my dazed look.
“And I know you’d be there in a flash knowing I’d be there.”
Kyuhyun winked, “You know it, babe.” I rolled my eyes, fighting the blood back down from rushing to my cheeks.
“Let’s go inside.”
Kyuhyun nodded and we both hopped out of the car. I burst through the door laughing and trying to keep a serious face when Kyuhyun had “helped me through the door again” by hitting my ass, Kyuhyun doubled over in laughter, leaning against the door frame and clutching his stomach.
“Well hello you two! How come you’re back so early?”
I opened my eyes to see Mom smiling at us warmly, her cooking apron on as she was wiping a plate dry. I smiled, “We decided to come home early. It was getting kind of boring. Not to mention that So Hee’s boy - mmmm!”
I glared up at Kyuhyun, his hand covering my mouth and his arm curled around my shoulders, I blushed and turned away. Kyuhyun’s chest vibrated as he chuckled, “Err, Mom. We just wanted to come home early. Things were getting boring…right Ryeowook?”
“Mmm! Mmm! You stupid - mmm!”
I looked over back to Mom as I heard her beautiful laugh. I smiled, tugging Kyuhyun’s hand off mouth and holding it around my shoulder, smiling at my squealing mother and resting my head on Kyuhyun’s shoulder.
“Mom? What’s so funny?”
Mom peeked at us from around the plate and burst into giggles again, squealing and jumping up and down, scurrying back into the kitchen. I shrugged and tugged Kyuhyun to the stairs when I heard her yell to us.
“You guys are just so cute together! Awww! Kyuhyun! You’re holding my baby Wookie! He’s growing up! Oh I’m going to cry!”
Kyuhyun laughed loudly, pulling me closer and staring into my eyes, “Thank you Mom for accepting us,” he lowered his voice to a whisper, “and I know very well how cute my baby is….”
I blushed, pushing him away with a slight giggle at his corny line and running up stairs. I ran into my room, hurrying up so Kyuhyun wouldn’t catch me and pushing against the door, using the heel of my foot as a door stop when stupid him tries to push open the doors……
*BANG BANG BANG*
“Baby! Come on! Let me in!”
I giggled, barely using any strength to keep him out.
“Babe, you’re going to get it if you don’t let me in! What did I do?”
I grinned, “This is for not letting me choose if I wanted to attend Sungmin’s little gathering, Kyu! I don’t think it’s fai - ahh!”
I gasped in shock as literally, in a flash, I was pinned against the door, another mouth covering mine and an arm wrapping around my waist, an intimidating growl made me curl away.
Kyuhyun chuckled darkly into the kiss, “Oh baby, you’re just so easy….”
I growled back, “No I’m not….”
“Yes you are. Look at you. All it took was a kiss for you to be all over me, but we can always save this for much later…..”
I tore away, glaring at Kyuhyun’s grinning face.
I’m not all over him! What is he talking ab - ohhh…..damn what the hell….
It’s not like I couldn’t not kiss him! He just forced me to! Er…I think?
I lowered my gaze, my eyes widening as I was….all over him in a way. Our foreheads pressed together as our breath mingled, my hands tangled in his hair, my leg hitched around his hip as his hand gripped my thigh firmly, his other arm holding my waist.
I blushed, my hands slipping to his shoulders and turning my head away. Kyuhyun chuckled, leaning in and pressing his lips to my cheek.
“Oh babes, you’re so cute when you blush. But, I need to go shower now, we can continue this later, right?”
I rolled my eyes, my voice shaking slightly, “C- Continue what?”
Kyuhyun laughed lightly, pecking me on the cheek before pulling away, running a hand through my hair, “I love you.”
And that broke me. I sighed, shuffling back over to him and wrapping my arms around his neck, staring into his orbs, “Ugh….I love you too,” I grinned, hitching my leg back around his hip, “How about you don’t go shower and we make-out for the rest of the night? You like morning showers right?”
Kyuhyun only grinned wide.

“Kim Ryeowook.......will you be my boyfriend?”
I opened the box and showed him what was inside. His mouth dropped open into a perfect “o” and he froze, his eyes widening.
I chuckled, “Hahaha....it's okay. You don’t need to speak yet anyways.” I gently grabbed what was inside of the box and held it up in the sunlight so he could see it. I grunted, “I.....ummm......bought this for you Ryeowook......”
Ryeowook’s eyes were still wide with shock. I laid the present in my hand and gestured for him to take it, setting the small box on the ground. He slowly reached his hand out, his eyes growing even larger as he held it up and it dangled in the sunlight.
“Would you like me to put it on for you?” I stood up and walked behind him, putting my upper arms on his shoulder and lacing my fingers together in front, placing my head beside his and resting my chin on his shoulder. He slowly nodded. I held it in front of both of us so that we could look at it.
“Kyu....hyun….I - “
“You said that we weren't really dating, and we weren't really a couple. So, I wanted to make it official. I…uh…bought this you this necklace.” I whispered into his ear softly.
“I- I - “
“You love music, right? I got you a diamond, double....uh....16th note? Is that what this charm is?”
He looked at it, “Yeah, it's a double 16th note.”
“Yes, I got you this diamond, music note necklace. I know you love music, and - “
“Kyuhyun….I - “
I interrupted and continued, “And on the back,” I turned the charm around, “I had it customized. Look. Our initials. I know it’s really cheesy, but still, on one of the notes, KH, me, and on the other, RW, you. And in the middle on the double bars….a heart. I love you Ryeowook. Will you officially be my boyfriend?”
“Kyuhyun.....I really don't know what to say or do….”
I chuckled, “Please say yes.......”
He was silent. I gently unhooked the thin, fragile, gold chain and brought it around his neck, placing it around his thin throat but not hooking it until I received an answer.
“So, Kim Ryeowook.....will you be my boyfriend?” I stepped closer until his back molded with my chest.
It sounded like Ryeowook sniffled and he nodded frantically, “Yes. I will. Of course I will.”
I clicked the hooks in place and fixed it for him, walking in front of him and wrapping my arms around his waist, resting my head atop his, “I love you.......so much......” He sniffled and I tilted his chin up, tears streaming down his face and stared into his big, brown eyes. I chuckled and bent my neck down until our lips met in a soft kiss. He sighed and threaded his fingers through my hair, and pulled me down more. I smile into the kiss and pulled back, raising a hand to brush my finger tips along his jaw. He let out a high-pitched, cute little sob and I hugged him tight, his face burying into my neck as I rubbed soothing circles in his back.
He pulled away and rubbed his nose and eyes, sniffling cutely and blinking rapidly, “Come on. We better go back out there; we've been gone for a while now.”
“Okay. Whatever you want to do, babe.”
He froze and quirked an eyebrow at me, “What did you just call me?”
I grinned, winking at him, “I called you babe. Don’t you like it? I think now that you’re my boyfriend I think I can call you ‘baby’, ‘babe’, all that other stuff. You know how couples do that right?”
Ryeowook only stared before a light blush colored his cheeks and he averted his gaze, turning his head away and huddling closer, “Call me that again.”
I chuckled, leaning down and pressing my lips against his ear, and whispering, “Baby….”
If I’m not mistaken, from what I heard, it was if Ryeowook giggled.
“Again.”
“My babes.” I parted my lips, nibbling at his ear.
“Again.”
I chuckled, “I love you my baby, Ryeowook….”
Ryeowook burst into sweet giggles, wiggling in my arms and gently trying to push me away. After his giggles subsided and a bit of an awkward silence settled in Ryeowook spoke up.
“Come on, boyfriend, let's go.” Ryeowook gave me his heart-melting smile.
Oh no....that smile......
I froze, just standing there watching Ryeowook’s retreating back.
“Kyuhyun? Are you coming?”
I broke my trance, “Yeah, sorry. Coming.”
We walked out from behind the booth and all of our friends were standing around talking. We walked over to them and Hankyung spotted us, and ran towards us, “Hey! Kyuhyun!”
“Hey Hankyung, what's up?”
“You won't believe this! Sungmin bought us all Fast Passes for Lazer Quest! We get to jump all the way to the front of the line!”
“Woah! Really? That's great!”
Ryeowook smiled and rubbed his eyes, “That's really cool.”
Ryeowook and I walked over to the rest of our friends and squeezed into the little circle.
“Hey everybody! So we all ready to go shoot each other with lazers?” Jung Soo shouted.
Sungmin’s eyes shot open and he stared with horrified eyes, “What? Shoot each other with lazers?”
Kibum smiled, “No no no, Sungmin, they're fake don't worry, and when you get hit it only makes the vest they make you wear vibrate a little.” Sungmin let out a sigh of relief.
“Come on! Let’s go!”
We all walked across the park to Lazer Quest, and we when we got there, there were two signs, the right reading “Regular Line,” the left reading “Fast Pass”. We looked at our tickets and ran to the fast pass line (but there honestly wasn’t really a line, most of the people were in the regular line).
“Welcome to Lazer Quest. At this time we would like to welcome in our 'Fast Pass' holders.”
“Hey! Come on! Hurry up So Hee!”
“Ok ok! I'm coming!”
We all turned around and saw So Hee and her friends running to the 'Fast Pass' line like us.
“Hi Wookie! Hi Kyuhyun!” She skidded to a stop.
“Hey So Hee. Are you going to do this too?” Ryeowook threw a thumb behind him.
“Yup! Jae Min asked if we wanted to go here, because he thought that you guys would be here, and he convinced us all that Lazer Quest was fun!”
I furrowed my eyebrows, “Wait...who? Who's Jae Min?”
“I'm Jae Min. Nice to meet you...Kyuhyun? Is that your name?”
A tall, good-looking guy stepped out from behind HyoYeon and Yuri.
I looked up at him, “Oh, hey. Yeah, I'm Kyuhyun.”
Jae Min smiled, “Cool. I heard you were So Hee's ex-boyfriend? I'm her new one, haha.” I glanced at So Hee, who was looking at guilty as ever.
“Hahaha, yes, I was her ex.”
“Cool, so we'll all get to go to Lazer Quest togeth - “ Jae Min's voice trailed off and he stared past me at......Ryeowook.
Ryeowook blushed in embarrassment at how intensely Jae Min had begun staring at him, like he’s never seen another human being before.
“Hey, uh, I'm Ryeowook, So Hee's older brother.” Ryeowook smiled and held out his hand.
Jae Min blinked and took Ryeowook’s petite hand, lingering just a little too long for my liking, “Oh, hi. I've wanted to meet you for a while now….”
“Oh, you have? Hahaha, thanks.”
“Yeah...”
What's with this guy?
"OKAY EVERYONE, WE ARE NOW OPENING LAZER QUEST. FAST PASS HOLDERS GET YOUR TICKETS READY.”
They took our tickets and we entered into a room with vests, lazers, and goggles all hanging on racks. It was all dark in the room except for the little glow in the dark alien pictures on the walls that frankly, crept me out a little.
*SLAM*
We all turned around immediately, watching as the lock on the entrance door automatically turned and locked us in.
Sungmin squeaked, “Uh. Uh. UH….”
“Don't worry Sungmin, the 'aliens' aren't going to eat you!” Youngwoon teased.
“Eat?” Sungmin yelped. Kibum rolled his eyes and glared at Youngwoon, “Geez….cut him some slack, dude.”
“Please take one vest, one pair of goggles, and one lazer. If any assistance is needed, ask a friend.”
Everyone geared up. I finished snapping the buckle on vest and looked over at Ryeowook. He was near the vest rack, twirling around in circles trying to catch the belt that hooks the vest together in the back.
I chuckled and started walking towards him, “Hahaha. Ryeowook, do you need - “
“Ryeowook? Do you need any help?”
Jae min walked straight in front of me and cut me off, jogging towards Ryeowook and began feeling around his body for the belt when it was right by his hand.
What the hell? What’s with this guy? He didn’t just touch my Ryeowook like that did he?
“Uh...I don't know....” Ryeowook mumbled and looked over Jae Min at me, his big eyes worried and pleading, staring into my own that were filled with fury.
.....this guy is really pissing me off....
“Are you sure?” Jae Min asked, still patting Ryeowook's vest.
Ryeowook smiled at Jae Min and gently pushed his hands away, “Uh....it's okay, I don't need any help.”
Jae Min raised an eyebrow, and shrugged, ”Okay,” then made his way back towards So Hee and slung an arm around her shoulders.
I glared at Jae Min and stood next to Ryeowook.
“Umm...Kyuhyun?”
I turned around my attention to Ryeowook, “Yeah?”
“Could you help me with this please?” He pointed to the belt, wherever it was....I couldn't see it anymore.
“Hahaha. Sure.” I walked over to him and searched for the belt in the darkness, “Why didn't you want Jae Min to help you?” I found the belt and clicked it together, lifting my gaze until it met with Ryeowook’s.
Ryeowook stared up at me with big, rounded, sparkling eyes even in the darkness, “I would prefer my....boyfriend to touch me rather than a person I just met touch me.....” The longer we stared, the shorter the distance between our face became, and -
“OKAY EVERYBODY - “
The call over the intercom stopped us from almost kissing in front of everybody.
That was close.....
“ - DO YOU SEE THE COLOR ON YOU VEST? THERE IS RED, AND BLUE, YOU SEPERATE INTO THE RED TEAM AND THE BLUE TEAM AND WORK TOGETHER......"
I looked at my vest. Mine was blue. I looked at Ryeowook's....was red.
“Hey! Kyuhyun! Looks like we're on the same team! Cool! Let's do this!” Jae Min came between me and Ryeowook and held up his hand for me to give him a high five.
I smiled, “Hahaha....yeah,” and gave him a high-five. Jae Min walked back over to So Hee. Ryeowook looked at me and stood beside me again, “Good luck.”
I leaned over and nibbled at his ear, “You too, babe. I'll go easy on you…”
Ryeowook jerked away and glared, “What? You’ll go easy on me? I don’t think so. It’s me who has to go easy on you.”
“Who's the gamer here? Me or you? Come on baby, really.” I grinned and ran a hand down his arm.
Ryeowook brushed my touch off and crossed his arms and stared up at me snootily, “I believe it's me.”
I turned my body towards him and placed my hands on my hips, staring down into his chocolaty orbs, “Hahaha, no it's not.”
“Yes it is.”
“No it's not!”
“Yes it is!”
Each time we yelled in a whisper, our faces closed in closer and closer until our noses brushed. I glared at him, “I think I definitely know how to play 'games' better than you Ryeowook......”
Ryeowook smirked with a roll of his eyes, “That's gross, but I'm pretty good at continuing 'games,' don't you think?”
“Yes, I have to admit you are....” I grabbed his hand and pulled him closer, leaning down to kiss his -
“Okay! Once you have separated into your teams, good luck! Let the adventure begin. Welcome to Lazer Quest……” A rather sinister voice chuckled in the intercom.
I stared down into Ryeowook’s half-lidded eyes, his eye lids fluttered and he stared up at me. I smirked and bent my neck down, pressing my lips to his jaw and whispering against it, “See you in there, Ryeowook.” I pulled back.
Ryeowook averted his eyes and pulled away from me, getting into position at the starting line, “You too...”
Two pairs of huge, double doors in front of us whooshed open, a gust of wind smacking us in the face. There was a red lit tunnel and a blue lit tunnel, lights flashed and alarms sounded.
"BEGIN!"
And we all ran in.....

This is huge! Holy crap dude!
My team looked around our new surroundings quickly, discovering by looking up that there are 3 floors that we can run up and down from. The blue team was Sungmin, Heechul, Jung Soo, Jae Min, Shindong, Donghae, So Hee, Yuri, and I. The red team was the rest of them: Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, Yesung, Youngwoon, HyoYeon, Hankyung, Siwon, and Kibum.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Red alarm lights appeared out of nowhere in the scary darkness and blared loudly, we covered our ears and the girls in our group screamed.
“Code Red! Code Red! Lazer Quest has begun! Start your lazers! And…..GO!”
Donghae looked around like a lost puppy, “What the heck do we do?” I shrugged in response, not wanting to have to yell over the loud alarms.
“We need someone to lead us! Uh…Jung Soo! Be the leader!” Yuri squeaked and shoved him in front of us.
Jung Soo spun around, “Why me?”
Shindong smacked him upside the head, “You’re the oldest out of all of us! How would you feel if Kyuhyun dongsaeng ordered you around?”
“Fine!” Jung Soo yelled, “Okay, uh…look! There’s some monitor maps over there! Hurry up everbody!”
We all followed Jung Soo over to the huge computer map on the wall. It showed the entire building, all the floors and where each player was located.
“Look! It says the red team is on Floor 3!” Jae min yelled, pointing to the screen and nearly smacking me in the head.
“What floor are we on?” So Hee asked, eyes big and scared. We looked around for any signs that told us what floor we were on.
Sungmin scanned the screen, “It says on the screen! Blue Team: Floor 2!”
“Okay! Good! We’re not on the same floor! We have time to plan!” Jung Soo yelled and huddled us all together.
Heechul, the diva he is, just had to check his reflection in the screen, “No! We don’t! Look! It says that the red tem is moving…wait! What the heck? What happened to them? They disappeared!”
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPPPPPP.............*
The pitch of the alarms raised 2 octaves higher and nearly busted our eardrums, the lights flashing like light speed, blaring crazily….then shut down completely, everyone so quiet suddenly.
“Ahhh! Help!” So Hee and Yuri yelped, holding onto each other.
*BEEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP RING RING RING*
The alarms sounded again.
"Code red! Code Red! Detecting maps have been destroyed!”
“What? Do they mean that the maps that we were looking at before are destroyed now?” We turned around to look at the screen. It was blank, buzzing a little as if it were actually broken and sparking.
So Hee and Yuri screamed. Jung Soo face-palmed and gathered everyone around, “Okay okay! Calm down everyone! Calm down! Okay! The last time we saw the map, it said that the red team was on the move. So they are all probably going to come soon! Everyone hide with a partner behind these walls! Go!”
We all ran behind or around a corner with our partner, crouching down. So Hee went with Yuri, Heechul went with Jung Soo, Shindong went with Donghae, and Sungmin, Jae Min, and I all hid together.
*BEEP BEEP RING RING RIIIINNNGGGGG*
“Code red! Red team detected on Floor 2! Code red!” The alarm screamed louder.
“Hey everybody! Come on! Hurry up!” We heard Kibum yell from the entrance to Floor 2. We all crouched behind the walls and prepared ourselves.
“Come on! Hurry up! Hurry up!” Hankyung and Eunhyuk yelled.
Then it went quiet, no voices could be heard, the alarm bells still rung, but we didn't hear anyone screaming or yelling. We waited and -
” Ahhhhh! Help us!” came So Hee’s and Yuri’s scream.
“Everyone! Go go go! We have to help So Hee and Yuri! Run! ”
We all ran over to where So Hee and Yuri were supposed to be hiding, skidding around the corner…..
“Well hello Blue Team!” Youngwoon and Hankyung grinned.
The entire red team had us cornered, all lined up in formation and their guns pointed at us.
I spotted So Hee squatting on the ground, and yelled to her, “Come here So Hee!” So Hee ran over into my arms.
“Yuri! Come here!” Jung Soo yelled, Yuri running over and hugging him.
“So do you guys surrender?” Siwon yelled over the alarms.
We stayed silent, Jung Soo’s eyes narrowing and holding Yuri tighter, “So who’s your leader?”
Everyone on the red team slowly shuffled to the side to reveal…..
“Ryeowook….” Heechul hissed.
Ryeowook came out from behind the rest of them twirling his gun on his finger and grinning widely, “Hey Blue Team, who’s your leader? ”
We pointed to Jung Soo.
“Really? Nice choice. So? Do you and your team surrender, Jung Soo?”
Ryeowook smiled at Jung Soo, his eyes then flickering towards me and tilting his head to the side, looking ever so sexy, especially with that sensual glint in his eyes.
Jung Soo scoffed,”…..Hell no! Run everybody!”
We all screamed, darting off in different directions away from the ran away from the red team.
“Follow them….” I heard Ryeowook command his team, “Eunhyuk, you got Donghae! Yesung, you got Shindong! Kibum you got….” He continued naming them.
When did he become so demanding all of a sudden?
“And as for me? I got Kyuhyun…..Let’s go! Move it, Red Team!”
Jung Soo yelled over his shoulder at all of us right before his rounded the corner, “Okay everybody! Spread out onto different floors and different parts of the building! Go!”
We all ran different directions I ran up to the third floor with Jae Min, Sungmin, and So Hee.
“Come on, guys! Spread out!” I gestured for So Hee and Jae Min to hurry up.
A couple seconds later.....
“Ahhhhh! Help! My gun isn’t working!” A girl’s shriek resounded (I'm guessing it’s So Hee).
I ran to her voice and found her.
“Ahhhh! Help!” So Hee shrieked as she was being pelted by HyoYeon.
“I’m sorry, So Hee! But this is a game you know!”
I got my lazer out and shot HyoYeon a couple times. She squeaked, her vest vibrating and her lazer temporarily stunned.
“Run, So Hee!”
“Thank you, Kyuhyun!”
“Woah! What happened here?” Jae Min came running around the corner.
“You! Where were you? You’re my boyfriend, Jae Min! You were supposed to save me! Instead my ex-boyfriend saved me! Some gentlemen you are!”
I laughed then hid behind a wall to see if anyone was coming.
*BEEP BEEP RING RING RINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG*
"Code red! Floor 3 shutting down! Get off floor three! Floor 3 shutting down!”
“What?”
The lights on floor three started to flicker and turn off one by one, pipes bursting air and the floor beneath us began to shake.
“Come on! Run, So Hee!” Jae Min screamed, dragging a frightened So Hee behind him.
“Ahhh!”
I ran out of the door to floor 3, jumping out the entrance and landing perfectly (so that’s where karate classes come in handy…).
*SLAM*
I spun around just to see the door to Floor 3 slammed shut.
Jae Min’s eyes widened in horror, “Holy shit, dude! What the hell is this game?”
“It’s Lazer Quest!”
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"All players trapped on Floor 3 please exit and go through the emergency door. Follow the arrows on the ground to the elevator and exit into the ‘Captives Room’. Floor 3 is now shut down! The remaining players….go! Continue the battle!”
Alarms sounded again and lights lit up the stairs to lead us back down to Level 2 (at least these geeks who make these games have some sense…..).
“Where’s HyoYeon?” So Hee yelled.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Our guns and lazer screens beeped and read something....
FLOOR 3 TRAPPED PLAYERS: KIM HYOYEON
“Ahhh! I don’t want to get trapped like unni did!”
“Then move baby!”
We ran down the stairs and onto floor 2. I looked around, sighing out in exasperation at how even more chaotic is was down here then up there, down here was the real action. People pelted each other with lazers, Donghae cornered Eunhyuk and kept shooting him. Kibum was chasing Heechul around. We split up and I ran into a small room on floor 2 and hid behind a wall.
“You better run!” I heard Jung Soo yell. Jung Soo was chasing two people, shooting them, and as far as I could make out, the people look like Siwon and Hankyung, who were trying to shoot Jung Soo back.
I blew out a shaky breath, the intensity of it all speeding up my heart rate.
This is actually kind of scary…..
“Where is he….”
I heard a sweet, angelic voice, even though that person was yelling, they still sounded as if they were speaking normally.
It was Ryeowook.
Ryeowook skidded to a stop, his back towards me and if he turned around he’d surely see me.
Uh oh. I don’t have enough room to run….he’ll notice….crap…
“Got you!”
A deeper voice came out of nowhere, a person skidded out from a wall and ran into Ryeowook, grabbing him from behind and trapping his thin arms at his sides.
“Woah! Let go! Who are you?” Ryeowook yelled, squirming and wiggling.
“You don’t need to know who I am…..”
It was a guy for sure. He had a blue vest on, but with the goggles on I couldn’t make out the face. Of course I could recognize Ryeowook anywhere. He could be wearing a ballerina costume (I’d like to see his thighs in that…..) and be in a crowd of girls, and I’d still be able to find him.
“Let go of me! Who the hell are you?” Ryeowook screeched, kicking to no prevail.
“You don’t need to know. The only thing you need to know is…..I like you….”
He spun Ryeowook around by the shoulders, wrapping an arm around Ryeowook’s waist and pulling them flush.
Woah! What the hell? He can’t touch my Ryeowook like that! Who the hell is this dude?
“Kyuhyun? Is it you? What the - “
Ryeowook didn’t finish his sentence. That person silenced him with a kiss, grabbing Ryeowook’s neck and pulling them closer, and from what I could see…..it wasn’t just a peck on the lips.
What the hell? Kyuhyun! Get out there! Don’t let that bastard kiss the man you love!
I couldn’t move, frozen on the spot as anger and fury weighed me down. Ryeowook’s small hands pushed the person’s shoulders as he kept trying to pry himself free, but then…he didn’t hesitate, kissing the person back and wrapping his arms around the other person’s neck, giving in.
Ryeowook! That’s not me!
I finally came to my sense, all the anger burning in the pit of my stomach and fueling my energy. I rolled up my sleeves and walked in long strides.
“Hey you! What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
*SLAM*
I threw a hard punch to his face, careful not to hit Ryeowook. The person stumbled back and slammed into a wall, sliding down to the ground, their head lolling to the side.
“What the - ? Who are you? You’re on his team! Why did you just punch Kyuhyun?” Ryeowook yelled at me.
I sighed and ripped off my goggles. Ryeowook’s eyes widened.
“What the - “ Ryeowook slipped off his goggles and rubbed his eyes, “Kyuhyun? Is that you?”
I threw a hand in the air, “Yeah! Who did you think it was?”
“I thought that he was you! I didn’t know!” Ryeowook yelled, pointing to the guy on the floor.
“Who the hell is this person? And why did you kiss this idiot?”
“I don’t know! Again! I thought it was you! That’s why I kissed him back!”
I grinned inwardly but kept a serious face for the matter at hand, “Really? Okay, let’s see who this bastard is!”
I walked over to the guy on the ground, grabbing his goggles and pulling them off…..
“Jae Min! ” Ryeowook screeched, a look of disgust on his face, “What the - “
Ryeowook started spitting and wiping his lips, trying to get Jae Min's mark off himself.
“Jae Min? What the hell? I thought he was dating So Hee! ”
“That’s what I thought too! ”
“Ahh…geez….”
I snapped my eyes over at the voice below me, glaring at Jae Min on the floor.
“You!” I bent down, grabbing him by the collar and shoving him against a wall, “What the hell is wrong with you? Why did you kiss Ryeowook?”
*PUNCH*
I punched him across the mouth.
“Ahh! Kyuhyun! Geeze! What’s wrong with you?” Jae Min growled.
I hissed, “That’s what I’m asking you! Give me an answer now!”
Jae Min slowly lifted his face, his eyes dark and angered, “No. And Ryeowook…..is mine.”
“I’m yours?” Ryeowook screamed, “What the hell? No I’m not! I barely now you, you sick person!”
*PUNCH*
Ryeowook punched Jae Min hard across the face.
I grinned at Ryeowook, never knowing such a small thing like him had that in him, “Nice!”
“Thanks! It kinda hurt my hand though….” I smiled, quickly grabbing his hand and pressing a kiss to it before turning back to look at Jae Min who was already glaring at me.
“I like you, Ryeowook. Actually, I think I might love you…..” Jae Min said, voice low and sinister.
*PUNCH* *PUNCH*
I grunted at the sudden pain in my stomach and my jaw, falling back and hitting a wall, my lips bleeding as my vision went a little blurry and I slid to the ground.
“What the hell, Jae Min?” Ryeowook screamed.
“You’re mine, Ryeowook! Do you know why I dated So Hee? She showed me a picture of you on one of our ‘dates’. Well, she thought it was a date, but for me, it was an investigation.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Ryeowook’s screamed on the verge of tears.
“When So Hee and I were on a date, I kept asking her about you, finding out more and more about you….and I fell in love. I love you, Ryeowook! You’re mine - “
“No! I’m not!” Ryeowook interrupted, “I’m not yours! I will never be yours! I’m Kyuhyun’s I will always and forever be Kyuhyun’s! No one elses! I don’t want to be anyone elses! Leave me and my boyfriend alone!” Ryeowook screeched through tear-filled eyes. Jae Min was silenced.
“Ryeowook…” I said as loud as I could, my vision clearing up as I reached a hand towards him.
Ryeowook spun around, his big, brown, beautiful eyes now flowing with tears as he spotted me. His lips quivered, “Kyuhyun!”
He came over, lowering onto his knees and cupping my face, staring at me in horror. “Oh my god! Are you okay? You’re mouth is bleeding!”
“Baby, don’t cry, I’m fi - “
“No you’re not!” He squeaked, “You’re far from fine! You’re bleeding! What’s that red stain on your shirt?” His petite hands slipped under my shirt and lifted it, his eyes widening and he sobbed, “Your stomach is bleeding, Kyuhyun!”
I lowered my line of sight from Jae Min to my stomach, through the haze I could faintly see a long scratch, thin at the egdes and wide in the middle. Ryeowook spun around and glared at very satisfied looking Jae Min.
“Jae Min! How could you do that?” Ryeowook cried, wiping at his tears.
“He punched me first!”
“I don’t care!” Ryeowook screeched, averting his gaze from Jae Min before lifting his face once again and spitting through clenched teeth, “Show me your hand…”
“My what?”
“Show me your hand right now!”
Jae Min scoffed with a roll of the eyes and stuck his fist out, a sharp, sparkling, black ring perched on his ring finger.
“You bastard! Because you punched Kyuhyun with that stupid ring on your hand, he’s bleeding now!”
Jae Min scoffed, “Now does it really look like I care? ” Ryeowook’s jaw dropped to the floor and Jae Min only smirked, “I don’t care about him, at all. I would’ve punched him harder if you weren’t - “
“Shut up! Just shut up!” Ryeowook sobbed, “Don’t even finish that sentence! How could you even think that? You sick-minded bastard! Get away from me and my boyfriend!”
He rolled his eyes, “Fine. I’ll leave you two helpless people alone.” And strode off.
Ryeowook watched him walk away with tear filled eyes. Lazer Quest still continued, the game still going, the alarms blaring loudly, but all of those sounds were blocked out, except for the sound of Ryeowook’s concerned, heavenly voice.
Ryeowook turned and looked at me, “Kyuhyun, please! Tell me you’re okay?”
“I’m fine. I’m okay, Ryeowook.”
Ryeowook broke down in tears, crying harder, his tiny body shaking with his sobs. He grabbed my face hastily and kissed me, his tongue swiping along the cut and ridding of the cursed blood extracted by Jae Min. The metallic tang of blood faded away finally and I cupped Ryeowook’s neck, sucking at his lips and taking the dominant role.
“Code red! Code red! Floor 2 now shutting down!”
Light began to flicker off, pipes bursting and busting, the intensity of it all almost the same level as if it were real. I curled an arm around Ryeowook’s waist and pulled him against me, regardless of the blood oozing from the lengthy cut, he gasped into the kiss, hot tears falling from his eyes and splashing on my skin.
I pulled back and kissed his neck, “Ryeowook, don’t be so worried. I’ll be fine. It’s just a little scratch…”
“A little?” Ryeowook’s throat vibrated from his squeak, “How is an 8 inch long gash ‘a little’?”
“Please stop crying, babes. I’m hurt whenever you’re hurt.”
“But you’re already hurting! And you’re hurting me when you get hurt!”
“I know, but still. I’m telling you I’m fine. So calm down, okay? Everything’s fine.”
*SLAM*
The door to the 2nd floor slammed shut and darkness engulfed us suddenly. Our lazers beeped:
FLOOR 2 TRAPPED PLAYERS: CHO KYUHYUN, KIM RYEOWOOK, LEE JAE MIN
Another door opened and a bright light shined in our faces. Supposing that it was the exit, Ryeowook yelled for me to stand up, helping me up and slinging my arm around his broad shoulders. We slowly wobbled over to the door, walking down the white hallway and down the stairs into the “Captives Room”.
I leaned back against a wall, still holding on to Ryeowook, his body snuggled against mine.
“Kyuhyun, we need to go home now.”
“No. Not we. Just me. I don’t want you to leave because of me.”
“No. You listen to me, and you listen to me good, Mister!”
My eyes widened as Ryeowook grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and yanked me forward, our foreheads pressing together as I stared into his very determined, chocolaty-brown eyes.
“We are both going home. Not you. Not me. We. We are both going home. Now kiss me you fool….” Ryeowook said hastily, averting his gaze as his cheeks flushed an adorable shade of red.
I grinned, bending my neck down and capturing his lips in a firm, searing kiss, “I love you. I love it when you’re all demanding, babe…”
Ryeowook gasped, “I love you too.”

After a lot of persuading on my part, I eventually convinced Kyuhyun that he needed to at least get the cut treated and bandaged (but no he just has to act all tough and strong). We slowly made our way to the medical building, along the way, noonas from the water-ride scurried up to us, asking if we needed assistance, but in turn I waved them off with a small smile and continued hobbling.
“Okay! He should be all good now.” A doctor came out from behind a curtain and I stood up.
“Really?”
“Yes.” He gestured for me to go back.
I bowed and slipped behind the curtain, blushing slightly at the sight of Kyuhyun shirtless (minus the bandage wrapped tight around his torso), legs hanging off the medical bed he sat on. He noticed my presence and smiled, patting the spot next to him.
“Hey….”
I sat down, “Hi. Are you feeling okay now?”
“Yeah. I’m fine, Ryeowook. The real question is, are you? You over-reacted a bit there back in Lazer Quest.”
I blushed, “Oh yeah, I’m not sure what got into me, but seriously! He kissed me! And he would’ve punched you even harder if I wasn’t standing there! I wasn’t just going to sit back and let him say all that!”
Kyuhyun chuckled, raising his hand and caressing my cheek gently with his knuckles, “Thank you for caring for me Ryeowook.”
My eyes fluttered sleepily at the soothing warmth and I leaned my head against Kyuhyun’s shoulder, sighing as I felt his lips against my temple. I giggled and sat up, hopping up from the bed and brushing myself off.
“Come on, we should go home now. We’ve been here for a while. It’s been at least an hour or so.”
Kyuhyun slipped his shirt on and slowly slid off the bed, “What time is it?”
“Uh, I think 4:30, but the sun is already half gone.”
“Oh okay.”
We thanked the doctors, bowing and walking to the exit. I rolled my eyes and walked away as Kyuhyun tried to lead me out of the building by the waist. I herded his hands away and stumbled away out of his grasp. It took at least another 30 minutes of wandering through the park, us goofing off too much and getting lost in the “American Village”.
Kyuhyun, being the hyper-active kid he is, just had to suggest we race to the car. I won, hopping in the car first, laughing and lolling my head back against the headrest in exhaustion. A couple seconds later, Kyuhyun hopped in, laughing and leaning against the window.
“I win.” I panted, smiling and strapping myself in, turning on the air condition and adjusting the mirrors.
No answer.
I turned my head to look at -
“Mmm! Kyu…hyun!”
I squeaked, my lips captured in a heated kiss, a tongue already licking at mine, probing in my mouth. I sighed, my hands raising and tangling in his hair. A click of a belt resounded against the windows and I was pulled into a warm embrace, my legs spreading on either side of his hip, gasping down into the kiss as he held me up.
We broke together and I gasped for air, gulping and bending my neck down to initiate another searing kiss. Kyuhyun growled softly and tightened his grip around my waist. The heat of the enclosed car finally getting to me; I shivered as a warm hand slipped under my shirt and massaged the small of my back.
No! Ryeowook! Bad Ryeowook! Don’t give in so easily! That’s exactly what he wants!
My eyes shot open and I tore away from him, falling back in my seat, whining slightly as I hit my head, the dull pain making me wince. I gasped for air, faintly hearing Kyuhyun’s harsh but controlled breathing - for some reason - right in my ear. I popped an eye open, to see Kyuhyun’s body arching over mine, head beside mine, his breath tickling my ear. I shivered as his tongue curled around my earlobe and I unconsciously wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Baby….” He breathed, voice low and dark.
I gulped and managed a small squeak, blushing embarrassment and burying my face in the side of his neck.
“Can I ask you something?”
I nodded and he pulled back, staring down at me with a handsome smile, his hands trapping me against the window. He leaned down more and I shied, blushing furiously but not being able to rip my gaze from his penetrating one.
“Okay, so….I’ve only really asked this once in my entire life, and it was with So Hee and - “
My eyebrows furrowed together and I pushed myself up, supporting myself back on my hands on the car seat and pushing Kyuhyun back, “Where are you going with this, Kyuhyun?”
Kyuhyun bit his lip, his confident self now gone, “I mean….do you….”
“Yeah?”
He leaned in closer and I blew out a shaky breath, “Do you want to go on a date with….Sungmin? “
“What?”
*RING RING RING*
Kyuhyun sat back on his heels, waving his hand frantically, “No no no no. I mean it’s Sungmin that’s calling me.”
I nodded, watching him pick up his phone and put it to his ear, slumping back in his seat and strapping himself in, gesturing with his free hand for me to start driving. I rolled my eyes, breathing deeply to calm myself from before and started the ignition, backing up and making my way out of the parking lot.
The entire drive Sungmin kept Kyuhyun on the phone, every now and then I glanced at him, slightly jealous that my Kyu was talking to another man, but to my bad luck each time I spared Kyuhyun a millisecond of a glance, he always caught me. And usually when he caught me he’d chuckle or wink and I’d nearly lose control of the car…..
“What could it be, Sungmin? I was in the middle of something important….”
“Oh! My bad! But we were all wondering what happened to you guys!”
“Ryeowook and I decided to go home early, maybe just watch a movie or something. Lazer Quest was boring us.”
“Well someone is picky aren’t they? Haha, anyways, I’m having a sleepover next Wednesday. We’re on fall break anyways and my parents don’t really mind and I feel lonely and I’m inviting everyone to a sleepover at my house and and and - “
“Woah woah woah! Sungmin chill dude. Okay. Start over please.”
“I’m having a sleepover this Wednesday. We’re on fall break so we have a month off school. My parents don’t really care, I asked them for their permission and they said yes. Everyone else already said they’d be able to come. So would you and Ryeowook like to come?”
“Of course we would. Thanks. Okay, got to go. Night, Sungmin.”
“Okay! Night Kyu! See you and Ryeowook next Wednesday! 6:00 PM!”
Kyuhyun chuckled; I glared. He raised an eyebrow, slinging an arm around my shoulder and leaning over, his breath puffing against my ear.
“Sorry baby. Sungmin kept me on the phone. Why do you look like you want to kill me?”
I rolled my eyes, “You didn’t even ask me if I wanted to go or not!”
“But I knew you’d want to go….considering I’d be there.”
I shrugged his arm off my shoulders and nudged his face away, focusing on the road and hitting the turns sharp, finally realizing we entered our neighborhood and decreased the speed, “Well that gives me a good reason not to go. Just because you’re going to be there, I won’t go.”
I turned into the gates and parked the car, turning it off and crossing my arms, turning away and staring out the window. There was a click of a seatbelt and soon enough warm arms wrapped around me, lips brushing gently against the sensitive skin under my ear. I shivered a little but kept composed and unfastened my seatbelt, scooting farther away and closer to the door.
Kyuhyun smiled against my neck, “Come on, baby. Don’t be like this....”
“I’ll be whatever I want to be.”
“You know you’d go on the story that I was going to be there.”
I scoffed, turning my head just slightly and immediately meeting gazes with Kyuhyun’s playful eyes, that handsome smirk always getting me and I blinked incoherently before speaking, a grin replacing my dazed look.
“And I know you’d be there in a flash knowing I’d be there.”
Kyuhyun winked, “You know it, babe.” I rolled my eyes, fighting the blood back down from rushing to my cheeks.
“Let’s go inside.”
Kyuhyun nodded and we both hopped out of the car. I burst through the door laughing and trying to keep a serious face when Kyuhyun had “helped me through the door again” by hitting my ass, Kyuhyun doubled over in laughter, leaning against the door frame and clutching his stomach.
“Well hello you two! How come you’re back so early?”
I opened my eyes to see Mom smiling at us warmly, her cooking apron on as she was wiping a plate dry. I smiled, “We decided to come home early. It was getting kind of boring. Not to mention that So Hee’s boy - mmmm!”
I glared up at Kyuhyun, his hand covering my mouth and his arm curled around my shoulders, I blushed and turned away. Kyuhyun’s chest vibrated as he chuckled, “Err, Mom. We just wanted to come home early. Things were getting boring…right Ryeowook?”
“Mmm! Mmm! You stupid - mmm!”
I looked over back to Mom as I heard her beautiful laugh. I smiled, tugging Kyuhyun’s hand off mouth and holding it around my shoulder, smiling at my squealing mother and resting my head on Kyuhyun’s shoulder.
“Mom? What’s so funny?”
Mom peeked at us from around the plate and burst into giggles again, squealing and jumping up and down, scurrying back into the kitchen. I shrugged and tugged Kyuhyun to the stairs when I heard her yell to us.
“You guys are just so cute together! Awww! Kyuhyun! You’re holding my baby Wookie! He’s growing up! Oh I’m going to cry!”
Kyuhyun laughed loudly, pulling me closer and staring into my eyes, “Thank you Mom for accepting us,” he lowered his voice to a whisper, “and I know very well how cute my baby is….”
I blushed, pushing him away with a slight giggle at his corny line and running up stairs. I ran into my room, hurrying up so Kyuhyun wouldn’t catch me and pushing against the door, using the heel of my foot as a door stop when stupid him tries to push open the doors……
*BANG BANG BANG*
“Baby! Come on! Let me in!”
I giggled, barely using any strength to keep him out.
“Babe, you’re going to get it if you don’t let me in! What did I do?”
I grinned, “This is for not letting me choose if I wanted to attend Sungmin’s little gathering, Kyu! I don’t think it’s fai - ahh!”
I gasped in shock as literally, in a flash, I was pinned against the door, another mouth covering mine and an arm wrapping around my waist, an intimidating growl made me curl away.
Kyuhyun chuckled darkly into the kiss, “Oh baby, you’re just so easy….”
I growled back, “No I’m not….”
“Yes you are. Look at you. All it took was a kiss for you to be all over me, but we can always save this for much later…..”
I tore away, glaring at Kyuhyun’s grinning face.
I’m not all over him! What is he talking ab - ohhh…..damn what the hell….
It’s not like I couldn’t not kiss him! He just forced me to! Er…I think?
I lowered my gaze, my eyes widening as I was….all over him in a way. Our foreheads pressed together as our breath mingled, my hands tangled in his hair, my leg hitched around his hip as his hand gripped my thigh firmly, his other arm holding my waist.
I blushed, my hands slipping to his shoulders and turning my head away. Kyuhyun chuckled, leaning in and pressing his lips to my cheek.
“Oh babes, you’re so cute when you blush. But, I need to go shower now, we can continue this later, right?”
I rolled my eyes, my voice shaking slightly, “C- Continue what?”
Kyuhyun laughed lightly, pecking me on the cheek before pulling away, running a hand through my hair, “I love you.”
And that broke me. I sighed, shuffling back over to him and wrapping my arms around his neck, staring into his orbs, “Ugh….I love you too,” I grinned, hitching my leg back around his hip, “How about you don’t go shower and we make-out for the rest of the night? You like morning showers right?”
Kyuhyun only grinned wide.
