073. Milkshakes
“Hyung~!”
EeTeuk looked up to see a pouty EunHyuk stare down at him. “Yes?”
“There’s no more ice cream in your fridge.” He said.
“How come all of a sudden you want ice cream?” EeTeuk asked. It wasn’t DongHae who ate the last of it, it was EeTeuk himself.
“I feel like drinking a milkshake.” EunHyuk said plopping down next to EeTeuk on the couch.
“Don’t you have any in your dorm?” EeTeuk wondered. He felt a little guilty for eating all the ice cream because today was EunHyuk’s birthday and he didn’t have anything to give him for a present.
There was a pause, “I think so.”
“Wait, why are you here in the first place?” EeTeuk asked. EunHyuk’s dorm was on the 11th floor and EeTeuk roomed on the 12th floor. There was no need for EunHyuk to come to the 12th floor unless he needed something…
“Me?” EunHyuk asked bewildered, “I’m here because I missed you.”
EeTeuk looked at EunHyuk, he was a cute dongsaeng but there seemed to be another reason why he was here. EeTeuk shook his head and said, “Why don’t you go home and make it then?”
“Can’t you come with me?” The younger man asked.
“Why?”
“I won’t want to go by myself, besides no one else is at home.” EunHyuk explained. Today everyone had a busy schedule and EunHyuk knew it because they all decided to celebrate his birthday later on in the week when everyone was free. EeTeuk was the only free person around with EunHyuk
“I don’t want to go either.” EeTeuk protested.
“Please~~” EunHyuk begged as he pulled EeTeuk’s hand to pull him off the couch.
“Why?” EeTeuk said without budging, “Why do I have to come with you?”
“Please~~” EunHyuk pleaded now with more of a pout and he made it cuter.
EeTeuk looked away, “Fine.” He said. EunHyuk was too cute for his own good.

EeTeuk stood in the kitchen looking at the things that lay in front of him. There was strawberry flavored ice cream, milk, strawberries, whipped cream, and some syrup.
“So… What are we supposed to do?” EunHyuk asked looking at EeTeuk.
EeTeuk looked at EunHyuk, “You don’t know how to make a milkshake?”
The younger member shook his head that had a look of ‘Am I supposed to?’
“But you wanted one.”
EunHyuk shrugged, “Most of the time when I feel like drinking one someone orders it for me. And no one was home.”
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” EeTeuk asked EunHyuk as he saw the younger one grab the ice cream.
“This shouldn’t be too hard.” EunHyuk said scooping out ice cream and putting some in a blender.
EeTeuk watched the young male scoop out the ice cream and pour the milk in. EeTeuk stood back and watched.
EunHyuk looked at the blender, “Did I do it right?” he asked himself tilting his head to the side placing his hand on the ‘mix’ button.
“Wait! Stop-,” EeTeuk said loudly but the sudden shout from EeTeuk made EunHyuk jump in shock and press the button.
All the contents in the blender showered out of the blender and onto EeTeuk and EunHyuk. EeTeuk pressed the button again to make it stop, “I told you to stop!” EeTeuk said smacking him lightly on the arm, “Who in their right mind would press the button without putting the cover on it?” EeTeuk said to himself as he started wiping down the counter.
EunHyuk looked down to the ground, “Hyung… I’m sorry.” He said quietly.
EeTeuk turned around to face the younger man, ‘Now look at what I’ve done now. I’m such a bad Hyung I’ve made him cry on his birthday.’
“HyukJae-ah it’s not your fault.” EeTeuk said wrapping his arms around him, “I used do the same thing too and HeeChul always yelled at me. That’s why I haven’t done it lately.”
“It’s… just that… Hyung…” EunHyuk said looking up, “I kind of wanted you to make it for me. But you weren’t willing then I wanted to see if I could make it to give to you.”
EeTeuk looked at him, “If you wanted me to make it then why didn’t you just ask?”
EunHyuk shrugged, “I don’t know.”
EeTeuk looked at EunHyuk and laughed.
EunHyuk looked at EeTeuk like he was crazy, “Why are you laughing?”
“You’re all covered in strawberry!”
EunHyuk looked down at himself then looked to EeTeuk, “You are too!” he said defensively.
After a few seconds of silence, both of them burst out laughing.
“HyukJae-ah, why don’t you take a shower and Hyung’ll take care of this.” EeTeuk said after awhile.
EunHyuk nodded and headed off towards his room to grab a pair of clothes and his towel.
EeTeuk looked back at the kitchen. “This is going to be a piece of cake.” He said looking around.

EunHyuk walked out of the bathroom with his clothes on and a towel in his hands wiping away the water from his hair, “Teukkie Hyung??” EunHyuk called out.
No one answered back.
EunHyuk looked inside the kitchen no one was there and everything was all clean. But there was something on the table.
It was a strawberry milkshake. There was milk mixed with ice cream and there were a few scoops of strawberry ice cream in it making it look lumpy. On the top there was a pile of whipped cream made into a pretty swirl. Chunks of strawberry and strawberry syrup decorated the swirl. On the side there were two strawberry flavored pepero sticks sticking out from the side making it look like something that would come out of a movie. It looked too pretty to eat.
EunHyuk walked closer to the table and saw a note.

HyukJae-ah sorry for not catching the hint earlier, that you wanted me to make the milkshake for you. I left because I need to take a shower and I have a schedule to attend too. I hope you like your milkshake. Hyung loves you a lot, happy birthday HyukJae!
