098. Soothing
“JungSu hyung… I don’t feel too well.”
EeTeuk looked up from the book he was reading to stare up at KangIn, “YoungWoon-ah, does your stomach hurt?” he asked putting down the book and taking off his glasses. Actually EeTeuk didn’t even need glasses the glasses didn’t even had lenses in them so there was no reason for him to take them off. The glasses he had had on were just for looks.
“It kind of hurts… My head hurts too.” KangIn added.
EeTeuk patted the space next to him that was empty, “Come lay down, maybe you’ll feel better after lying down.”
KangIn nodded and lay down next to EeTeuk with his head in his lap. KangIn’s large brown eyes stared at EeTeuk once they both were comfortable. EeTeuk looked at KangIn, “Is there something wrong with my face?” he asked since KangIn was staring at it to intently.
“Yes.” KangIn replied, “It’s too pretty. I think I’m falling in love all over again.”
EeTeuk laughed shyly and hit KangIn lightly on the chest, “Stop kidding around.”
“Ah-ah!” KangIn shouted acting like he was in pain. He took the hand that EeTeuk had hit him in his own hand.
EeTeuk placed the other hand that was free on KangIn’s head and he played with his hair. They stayed this way for about 5 minutes without saying anything. They both looked at each other and thought about each other.
“JungSu Hyung?” KangIn said after a long period of silence.
“Hm?” EeTeuk answered.
“Can you sing to me?” he asked quietly.
EeTeuk nodded and searched his brain for a song. He decided to sing an English song that he had sung almost a year ago on Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio, “Although loneliness has always been a friend of mine, I'm leaving my life in your hands…People say I'm crazy and that I am blind, risking it all in a glance. And how you got me blind is still a mystery, I can't get you out of my head. Don't care what is written in your history. As long as you're here with me…”
“Hyung…” KangIn said after EeTeuk was finished with the first part, “Your English has gotten better. I remember seeing a video of you singing this song before.”
“Actually that was EunHyuk who sang that part. I sang the part coming up next… besides that video was from a long time ago. Of course my English is getting better.”
“I saw that EunHyuk sang more than you. Was it because you couldn’t read the English lyrics? Or was it because you didn’t know how to say them?” KangIn said teasing EeTeuk.
EeTeuk hit KangIn again, “Be quiet. I haven’t finished the song yet.”
“Okay, okay.” KangIn said rubbing the spot that EeTeuk hit.
“I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did, as long as you love me.
Who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did… As long as you love me…”
KangIn listened to the lyrics of the song he understood why EeTeuk had chosen this song to sing instead of something else. The lyrics matched the situation they were in right now.
“Every little thing that you have said and done, feels like it's deep within me, doesn't really matter if you're on the run. It seems like we're meant to be…”
KangIn closed his eyes as he listened to the lyrics. EeTeuk’s voice was soothing and soft on the ears. He could have fallen asleep right there. EeTeuk of course made a couple mistakes here to there. But it was okay since EeTeuk doesn’t speak English all the time and because KangIn loved EeTeuk and didn’t care if EeTeuk couldn’t speak English well.
“I've tried to hide it so that no one knows, but I guess it shows. When you look into my eyes, what you did and where you are coming from I don't care, as long as you love me, baby….”
KangIn opened his eyes and sat up once EeTeuk stopped singing and kissed him on the lips pulling back he said, “I do love you. So don’t worry what anyone says about us. I’ll take care of you no matter what.”
EeTeuk felt the others hot breathe on his lips as he said, “I love you too YoungWoon-ah…”
KangIn’s hand brushed EeTeuk’s soft check lightly and pulled in for another kiss. Slowly the kiss became more passionate and hot as time went on. KangIn’s hand slowly reached for EeTeuk’s belt until EeTeuk stopped him.
“Wait…” EeTeuk said pulling away out of breath, “I thought- I thought you said you weren’t feeling well.”
KangIn nodded, “It’s true! I wasn’t feeling well earlier. But your song made me feel better. It was really soothing.”
“You’re lying. Was that just a ploy in order for you just to get into my pants?” EeTeuk asked.
KangIn gave a look to EeTeuk that said ‘how could you ever think that?’, “Pshh, no…” KangIn said looking at his hands then looking back up at EeTeuk’s stern face he said, “Yes.”
EeTeuk laughed, “Why didn’t you say so in the first place. Let’s go to my room. HeeChul won’t be home until late.” He smiled mischievously as he got up off the couch and pulled KangIn off the couch.
KangIn smiled inwardly. This was one of the reasons why he loved EeTeuk. Besides the fact that EeTeuk always made him feel better. It was true that his stomach was hurting and his singing was soothing and made him feel better. Actually it was hurting only a little bit.
Note: Song lyrics are from Backstreet Boys song 'As Long as You Love Me'. EeTeuk and EunHyuk sang it on Sukira Kiss The radio. EeTeuk was having a hard time singing the song but it doesn’t matter since we love him<33.
