Wow!! Is this thing still on??
Hey LJ world. I've completely forgotten about you. My apologies. Though I'm not sure if I'm really apologizing to anyone other than the two people who may read this =P But anywho, I'm still alive and still in a relationship with the same dude. My last entry was pretty emotional and hormone-fueled. I might have been PMSing. Or maybe it was the holidays. Who knows? I'm over it. Though I'm still not convinced Jonathan and I will ever get married. We're both overly comfortable with each other and too lazy to make any moves to change it. But this isn't why I've decided to write here today.
My 30th birthday is coming up!!!! I'm actually really excited about it. Since I was maybe 15 I thought about making a really huge deal about my 30th since my birthday is the 30th of May. I don't know where I got the idea, but I thought it would be fun to make a big deal on the day of your birth if your year matches it. So if your birthday is on the 18th when you turn 18 you should make a big deal over it. Don't ask, it's the way my brain works. Not much logic attached to it. The big plus about turning 30 on the 30th is that I have a better idea of what to do and how to get it done. Sort of. I'm not some kid anymore that just wants to party. I want to make this HUGE. So here's my plan:
Every day in May I will do something awesome/scary/different up to the 30th which is the official day and finish it with some kind of big... thing. I haven't figured it all out yet. I have a pinterest board dedicated to all the things I want to do. It's insanely ambitious and I'm excited and scared about it. I have a horrible habit of talking up a storm about what I will do and doing nothing to make it happen. I've already decided that the easier things should be at the beginning of the month just cuz it's coming up soon and they don't require as much planning and whatnot. The more challenging things I have to prepare for would be closer to the end of the month. I think there may have to be a couple of days where I would go to upstate NY to do the hiking/rock climbing/spelunking kind of stuff. So far Living Social may be hooking me up for all this stuff ;D YAY!!! Once I have bought my pass I will post them on FB and Pinterest and here so if anyone wants to join in they can buy it and it can be your way of getting me a birthday present since they do the special where if three friends buy off of your link you get it for free. YAY! I will also have a couple of days in FL since my baby brother, Willie, is graduating high school!!! AHHH!!! So I have to go. But I'm not making his graduation a thing. It's in the morning so I still have a whole day to accomplish something!!! ;)
