Can I exhale now? Can I uncross my fingers and toes?
Glad I voted in the morning, as I was in an accident on the way home. It was a domino-effect one; I was the last car hit, four cars in front of the one that didn't quite stop (in very slowly moving traffic on a two-lane village street). Barely any visible damage to the car - the imprints of the screws on the license plate of the guy behind was all I could see - and I'm fine. The 3rd and 4th cars took the brunt and both had to be towed. We were just down the street from the fire station so emergency vehicles were there in no time (I counted 7). Had to hang around for quite a long time as the minor injuries and accident paperwork were dealt with.
I'd say it was a little more excitement than normal, but the election definitely overwhelms it.
