This year's iteration of the High Falls Film Festival started last night. I saw the 'world premiere' showing of 'Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg' (a documentary about Gertrude Berg). My friend Paul sent me a notice for the (inaugural, I assume) Boston Crossword Puzzle Tournament, to be held April 5th (a Sunday) at Harvard. Boston area puzzlers, have you heard tell of / do you plan to attend this event? I'm seriously tempted, as it would provide a nice excuse for a Boston visit (albeit a somewhat short one).

So, we had a fun cross-country ski weekend, even if the conditions weren't ideal. Friday was so warm (around 40 F) that the snow was somewhat wet -- I used my waxless skis, didn't have much of a problem; in fact, I really enjoyed it.
