See...
I told you I would be back! *smiles triumphantly* And this isn't even one of the posts I have drafted...as you probably guessed from the title, this post will be just a collection of various links I've found in the last couple months. Despite my lack of time in the last several months to post on my own blog, thanks to my handy
Google Reader, I usually manage to keep on top of what other people are writing (it takes more brain power to read than to write!). And in my online reading over the last semester, I came across some good posts which I would bookmark in the hopes of later sharing them with my very small group of readers. So, since I have time now, I decided to unburden my "Favorites" folder and link to you all to several good reads!
"Amy on Public Education" -
Amy's Humble Musings is a blog I always enjoy reading as she writes well and makes good points about whatever she's musing on...
Crystal at the Biblical Womanhood Blog must think so too since
this post is almost entirely quoted from a comment
Amy made on the issue of Christians and public education...very good thoughts!
"India is Like a Melody" - a
YLCF post...on India, obviously...I enjoyed reading it as I could relate since I've been there...
"Feminine Apparel" and
"No Excellencies for the Daughters of Abraham?" - two excellent posts from
Susan on the subject of feminine dress...pretty much exactly echos my thoughts on the subject...it's so nice when other people can so nicely articulate your own thoughts on a subject!
"A Happy Thanksgiving" - it's obviously a post that's not exactly applicable right now since Thanksgiving is long past, but
Lanier's writing is always so beautiful and
this post is also on homemaking, a subject dear to my heart and that I greatly enjoy.
"On Tinted Spectacles" - another great post from
Susan...this one on grace and love.
"Home Schoolers vs. Kringle" - a funny little anecdote from
Doug's Blog that you will probably only "get" if you are a Christian homeschooler...
Okay...I'm done...for now, at least! And as always, if you do end up reading any of these, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them...discussions are always good!
