Lot on my mind today, unfortunately. Just found out that my younger cousin, who was kind of like my surrogate sister growing up (I'm an only child) is pregnant. It wasn't exactly a huge surprise - she's kind of been making some poor choices lately - but I'm still in shock. In my eyes, she's still a kid. First off, the first thing I noticed is your icon... hilarous.

Secondly, I'm freaking 19! I'm going to be 20 in less than 6 months! It just shocks me that people my age are getting married and having kids. Gah! I'm decently responsible and mature for my age, but even I am NO WHERE near having a kid! I hope everything turns out okay though. It's sad when families have to face big obstacles.

Thanks - I appreciate it. I know there are definitely some 20 year olds that can handle it, but in this case, I think it's pretty clear that she's not (she just met the guy a month ago for crying out loud!) Thankfully, her parents are really level-headed, together people, so I think things will work out alright.
