Weird.
My life is such a random mess. So I'm at work talking to a co-worker about country music, and she pings me with a video link to "Walking in Memphis," and is like, "I love this song." Random enough, sure... but what's even more random is that as the video link starts playing within the IM window, I notice that it's not just the regular video to "Walking in Memphis"... it's THIS:
WTF. I'm just like, "huh, what's with this video?"... and she's like, "ohh, yeah, I think there's like random Smallville clips or something attached to it, sorry."
And so out of the corner of my eye, I see it... and I'm just like, "wait, that can't be him.... oh my god, that IS!!!" AKA... RANDOM AND UNEXPECTED MMK OVERLOAD AT WORK. For no apparent reason (obviously she had no idea what exactly the video was, she just liked the song). Sometimes life, and all its oddly coincidental moments, amuses me to no end.
Went to see Sisterhood 2 after work. I was going crazy trying to figure out who played Effie (Lena's little sis), until I imdbed it and realized it was LUCY HALE FROM AMERICAN JUNIORS. I know that sentence probably means nothing to nobody.... but it was just one of my biggest celeb WTF moments in recent history. Right up there with when I found out that Chicken Little from Idol (Kevin Covais) was starring in a raunchy college comedy movie.
Mom, Nicole, and Joanne are coming down to Boston tomorrow. The weather actually looks promising (*fingers crossed*). I'm excited!
