(no subject)
This is absurdly late for me, but as I am unable to sleep I'll waste time until I can drift off.
I dabbled in make-up and hair straightening. I liked the outcome enormously and I'm kicking myself for being so bull-headed in high school. Oh well. My nature is my nature.
Jos kicked her first goal and the first goal of the game on Saturday. I was so bleeding proud of her, I still am. Unfortunately, she's a bit ill- stomach virus. So far, three of eight in this house have had it. I pray like hell it skips me.
Milo's new fascination is helping me cook. If I'm in the kitchen, he wants to be there doing something. He listens quite well. He's a very intelligent two-year old. Now if I could only get him potty- trained.
Teagan is four months old. She babbles a lot, loves to be outside, and has begun to crawl a little bit. She's unpredictable and very opinionated- trust me, she is even if she can't form words- she lets everyone know.
I can't believe I get to see him next week! I'm nervous, excited, elated, but still a bit worried. I'll be making the trip sans other adults so its going to require careful planning. This week is going to be busy. Tomorrow I have to get a portable dvd player and a camcorder for the trip and graduation. Wednesday I'm cleaning up the house on sylvis street. Thursday I'll be planning the route and double checking reservations. Friday I have a meeting in Nashville for a study I'm participating in at Vanderbilt. Monday I have to get my nails done. Tuesday I'll spend packing and checking my lists, my routes, packing the cooler and putting the bags in the car. Wednesday is the trip! I hope I make it there in time.
