Taurus: In his book In My Other Life, Paul Theroux imagines another version of himself -- the "story of a life I could have lived had things been different." I think you'd benefit from carrying out a similar exercise, Taurus. Daydream about the inner potentials you've never developed, the inviting destinations you've never actually sought out, the initial interests that never grew into full-fledged relationships -- and then fantasize that you are in fact doing those things. Aside from being fun, this experiment could lead you to actually try out some possibilities that maybe you should have considered long ago. And it might at least free up energy that has been trapped inside feelings of remorse.

Mm. I've actually been doing that more lately- not so much in this past week or two weeks but just life. It's hard for me to sit still, in an empty house and nowhere to go, especially given how much I want to travel. The urge hasn't been so overwhelming lately; both dance and photography are moving in a really good direction. But I still can't think of it too much, or it starts itching again.

Andy and I will be going up to camp today. (no intarwebs for a whole weekend!) No real plans, but our anniversary is on Monday, so we thought it would be good to pawn our pets off on other people and disappear for a little. I'm hoping for good pictures.

I had the second interview yestreday- which wasn't really an interview at all. I I actually sat down with the person who does the job they're hiring for & went over their process and a little bit on their programs. Talked to the supervisor for just a few minutes- she seemed really amused by the test orders I placed, I guess other people don't play around quite so much- she said they were still pursuing second interviews with a few other people and should have a decision by Wednesday. So we'll see. They seem to like me well enough, but I have no idea who else they're looking at.

So camp for a weekend, hopefully hearing back one way or the other, and then pennsic starts. Yikes. Good timing on all counts, but I still have no idea what's going on, and let's not even talk about the shopping. (I still have to buy a tent and other assorted goodies... hm.)

Anyhow. I'll return next week and catch up with you all, have a glorious weekend.
