There was going to be meta this weekend for women's day! Awesome meta that involved why we need more femslash in the DS fandom and conclude with a stunning analysis of why Frannie and Elaine are total girlfriends!
... and then there was a blizzard and a foot of snow happened and I kind of forgot. *sadface* But you should all go over to ds_meta and check out the wonderful entries about the women of Due South by the people who are not currently residents of looserville.
But on a happier note, my shiney new ipod shuffle came today! It is bright red and holds 1 gig of music and this will make shelving books at work go SO much faster! And then on top of my mikeyway (yep, that his name!) came an acceptance letters to one of my grad schools! YAY!!! :-D So today has been a VERY good day thus far.

I was re-reading Snapshots from a Possible Future by tigs and I realized that I had never recced it! Alack! Go forth and read it - it is a wonderful post-band gen piece about Spencer and Patrick. I am a sucker for fluffy post-band fics, and this one is just so warm and happy that I honestly hope some of this does happen for our bands!
And finally, in celebration of my new acquisition of Photoshop and woo acceptance letters I am feeling oddly inspired to make icons!
