Disclaimer: I do not own Generation Kill. This was written purely for fun, based off of the fictionalized portrayal of the actual people. No disrespect or harm was intended.

In theory, Nate has enough clothes that as long as he washes his slacks and jeans once every three days or so, he should only have to do the rest of his laundry every other week. Only in theory though.

In practice, Ray tends to just borrow Nate’s clothes whenever he feels like because he can’t ever be bothered to wash and/or just find his own. The shirts are too big on him and he tends to roll up the sleeves of whichever one he’s borrowing. He ignores Nate’s jeans in favor of wearing sweats that like to slip low over his hips, just taunting Nate with the sharp curve of a hipbone.

Nate could yell at Ray about it, could get huffy and annoyed at Ray for constantly borrowing Nate’s stuff without permission, but he doesn’t. It’s not like it’ll kill him to take a few ten minute breaks here and there on Sunday to do laundry.

Besides, even more than the unconscious possessiveness Ray wearing Nate’s clothes sparks in him, there’s something inherently adorable and sweet about watching Ray nap on the couch in clothes that are too big for him. Not that Nate will ever tell these things to Ray. He has no doubts that Ray will kill him the moment Nate utters the words.
