Setting: Graduate Seminar: Ideology/Power/Consciousness
Brumberg outlining the day's readings on functional-behavioralism before Mahaile begins her presentation on Weber. Mahaile is notorious for the rate at which she speaks, her funny language mistakes (she's Romanian), and her hyper-enthusiasm.

Prof Brumberg: "The urge of a philosopher like yourself is to dig deep. But you only have fifteen or twenty minutes, so you have to alight on the, uh, uh..."
Mahaile: "The carcass?"
Prof Brumberg: "The carcass. I like that, it's a very, uh....meaty term.
(Pause. Laughter.)
Prof Brumberg: "Well then, on to Weber."
Mahaile: "Right, let us dig into the Weberian carcass."
