Barnes and Noble's Nook

Everyone knows that I just love getting new toys so before my wallet went up in flames, I got it stuck in my head that I wanted an e-reader.  Now I put it off for a while because they were just way too expensive, and I didn't want the constant glare of the backlight. But then Barnes and Noble came out with the Nook, a compact, affordable device, with a metric-ton of memory, and free 3G wi-fi from AT&T. The Nook stores about 1500 books but you don't have to stop there because B&N keeps track of all your book purchases. So if you need to delete some books, magazines, or newspapers to make space for new ones, you can do so without ever worrying about paying for them again. Sweet, right? It gets better though because it is also equipped with a microSD memory card slot!

Reading the Nook is really easy too because it looks just like a real book, but the best part is that you can adjust the font. You can also use it as an MP3 player to listen to music or audio books.
The battery life on the Nook is outstanding! On a full charge, and with the wi-fi off, you can actually read off the Nook for a total of 10 days, which is great for the absent-minded traveler (like me). You can even share the books you love for 14 days and give your fellow Nook lovers a taste of what you love to read.  This e-reader is also compatible with PC and MAC but it doesn't stop there. I highly recommend the Nook for beginners, children, and book lovers alike. Just remember to read with the lights on or your eye sight will go bad!
