I started the day doing the Stroll with the Stars. This time we got to the complete route over the falls. Thanks to John Sloan for this picture.
Then it was to the Business meeting to discuss some items. I took a break to set up my phone to record a conversation between George R.R. Martin and Robert Silverberg. I did an experiment/risk in trust, I left the phone on a chair and hit record and left for the rest of the business meeting. It was still there when I got back towards the end of the talk. I checked a section of the recording and it sounded OK.
Then it was a day for Guest of Honors. Leslie Turek did an interview. It was interesting to hear her working on computers in the 1960s and 70s. Then David Gerrold did his Guest of Honor speech. I think part of it was directed at some mammals.
In between these events I got my con book signed by all the Guests of Honor.
Then it was time for Masquerade. I do not remember if I filled out a Sasquan volunteer form before the con. I decided to come to the Green Room and see if they needed a hand. I helped check in all the costumers. There 46 entries. The half-time show was Tom Smith and he was a tidal wave of energy. Below are some of my favorites from last night.
Then I braved the hostile air of Spokane for my hotel.
