Infatuation is bad
Hello folks. I'm mad. I'm currently infatuated with the Germany football team! Especially Thomas Muller, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Oezil and Manuel Neuer! OMG I can't believe it myself. I started out being neutral, what's-so-good-about-22-men-running-after-a-ball, to being influenced by the channel that's bought at home and the 3 males in my family (father and two elder brothers) into watching World Cup but only the England matches, to being a crazy, obsessive German football team fangirl! D: There must be something about German blood, because Leonardo DiCaprio has that running through his body too!
I'm glad I was able to watch the 2.30AM 3rd/4th placing match this morning. Surprisingly I wasn't able to sleep and hence was awake to watch the match. I haven't been unable to sleep for quite a while, since after I started working. Tonight at 2.30AM there will be the World Cup finals. I'm rooting for Netherlands because I don't want Spain to win, for various reasons in which a particular one has something to do with an eight-legged creature. However I have work tomorrow and I absolutely don't want to trudge through the day with a disturbed state of mind from the lack of sleep. Also, I'm not a big fan of Netherlands; heck, I only watched them play once and I didn't even pay full attention then. D: Oh well. We shall see.
Other than football, here's something. My favourite band of all time Linkin Park is releasing their new album this...September? The title of the album A Thousand Suns is appalling though. They better have some good enough reasons to name the album that way and have more rockin' songs, with better titles. Don't the title just make you think of the book A Thousand Splendid Suns?!
Oh and here's an embarrassing admission. Today at my Japanese language class, I learned that my Livejournal username is actually...wrong. It's supposed to be sanjuuichi. Oops... But hey! Sanjyuichi looks better, doesn't it? :P
