So...my brain went all Star Trek XI happy...
And I'm finding myself writing a "5 Times" fanfiction for nu!Pike/nu!Chapel. (Because Bruce Greenwood is lovely and his Pike is kind of sarcastic and ballsy, which I like.)

This started about three days after the idea I had for a short-ish, dark piece involving Winona Kirk being captured and taken aboard The Narada post Kelvin-destruction. (Which I'm still conceptualizing.)
It's not all Trek on my brain, though.
I've started back on my 1 sentence, 50 Themes inspired piece involving Davy Jones and Elizabeth Swann. It's a short damn challenge and shame on me for not finishing it when I started like...(2? 3?) years go. I'm getting close to the end. I think I've got about 10 more themes to go...
No, I have nothing to say for myself.
Except that I'm trying to keep my fanfiction relatively short so I can keep moving forward on original fiction prompts.
And, that I hope to hell this sudden creative urge maintains an even keel and continues through the day job rearing its head.
Fingers to the keyboard, pen to paper. That's really what it's about.
