This is what I get for looking through a kink meme.

So, I fell into the Star Trek fandom.

(Shut up.)

And, I've been touring through the Star Trek XI kink meme LJ community and all of their Delicious bookmarks.

And this led me to find a site that--I think--is going to become a favorite of mine (and I'm kind of surprised I didn't stumble across it earlier):

Sex Is Not the Enemy @Tumblr

Do I need to say that this is NSFW site?

And then, in perusing said Tumblr site, I come across this: Male Submission Art

Some really wonderful photography on that site, as well as interesting and thoughtful/analytical commentary. Also, the collected photographs don't just concentrate on the equipment which seems to happen in a lot of the nude male photography I've seen [hello? the cock isn't the only part of the male body] and there's some absolutely wonderful talent behind some of the shots.

In fact, there's a very nice statement quoted with one (quite beautiful) photograph [you'll find it under "Fri Dec 4"]:

However, as Filament Magazine editor Suraya Singh said on Kink On Tap episode 18:

One thing I find with photographing men is that the more you do it, the more beautiful you see the male body as. The more you look at the male body, the more potential you see in it. […] The reason, I think, why people believe that women are naturally more beautiful is because that’s what we see all the time and we’re just so used to thinking through that lens.

Indeedy.

So, yes, very pleased to stumble across a site that's collecting such photography.

(Also, a couple of my characters--and even a few characters who don't belong to me [I feel a fanfiction possibility coming on]--have perked up at some the imagery...)

Anyway...

Prettyful.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming. (While I get back to original writing prompts, and 50 1 sentence challenges, and the ogling of a particular Vulcan.)
