The snow schedule for the Willammette Valley is as follows:

Bethel- closed
Fern Ridge- closed. Too much ice on upper elevations.
Eugene- two-hour delay to allow for thawing.
Springfield: Closed. Too much ice remains on side streets.

Marst: 9:20 start. GAH. Not even a two-hour delay, because Mr. Martin is too lazy to schedule in a two-hour delay today, since we still haven't had our Thursday block classes, but if we open at 9:20, we can keep our Thursday schedule.

TECHNICALLY, I shouldn't even be GOING to school today. I live in Springfield. AND on a hill. "Two much ice remains on side streets" is an understatement. Six freaking inches of snow became four freaking inches of slush with tire tracks running through to break it up a bit. Now four freaking inches of slush have become four freaking inches of chopped-up ice. It's like driving off-road, only slipperyer. Mom needs to drive me to school today, ebcause one of our cars can't even make it up the hill in this weather.

Marist should be closed with Springfield, or at least have a 2-hour delay. Generally, they go along with what the rest of the 4j district does, and Eugene has a 2-hour delay.

It SHOULD however, be closed, because Marist doesn't have a district, so it has kids from all around. Some kids are from Lowell and Fern Ridge, and their parents probably can't even drive to work in Eugene. Others, like me, live in the Springfield mountains, and might be able to get down, but certainly won't be able to get back up in the afternoon.

Administrators are dumn. D:

school, ice, stupid, two hour delay
